Myles stayed stone-faced. This wasn't his first time dealing with bastards like these. He sighed and took a deep breath in, drawing his sword from his sheath.
In order for his master to live a peaceful life, he would have to exterminate all the pests first. He swore by the Lambros name to achieve this.
And frankly—Myles was more than happy to do that.
He glanced at both at them, a taunting smile appeared on his lips, different from the ones he would show [Name]. He threw his sword in the air and caught it effortlessly, his lilac-eyes seemingly glowing.
"Well? I don't have all day for bugs like you two. I'm vexed enough as it is." He ran a hand through his burgundy-colored hair.
The two thieves looked at each other in surprise at his change of attitude, then back at Myles. The man took out his own daggers and grinned.
"Heh, looks like you're asking to get disciplined, kid. Allow me to do what your parents couldn't-!" The two charged forward.
Myles smiled and as he readied his fighting stance, he only had one thought:
This would be easy.
Meanwhile in a forest:
[Name] heard the crunching of leaves and sticks under them as they walked through the forest, which was certainly abnormal. For every three trees, there seemed to be a lavender and white one. A 3:1 ratio. They knocked on the wood of one.
"Hmm...seems normal. Don't know why but I figured it'd be made of marble--or something." They muttered to themself, chuckling.
Since it was still the afternoon, [Name] had no trouble seeing where they were going. Thankfully, the weird sound they heard earlier was still faintly in the distance, so they didn't have to guess the direction. They continued to munch on their donut, eyes observing their surroundings.
Crunch
Crunch
Munch
Munch
The sound of them walking over leaves and eating were the only ones in the forest, besides the weird sound in the distance. [Name] was surprised it was so quiet, where were the little creepy crawlies at?
But then they realized the peace mist the trees gave off affected the animals as well. So they were prob all sleeping in their nests and burrows, safe and sound.
And then, [Name] picked up the sound of running water. Must be a river!
They carefully parted the leaves aside and looked around. Their eyes fell on a teenage boy with brown-hair and green eyes. He had a bit of hair tucked back in a ponytai. He was also pretty tall, sweat drops occasionally falling from his face.
He used his beige tunic to wipe some, then resuming training. His other attire were some gray pants and brown boots, so [Name] concluded that he was a commoner.
But when their e/c orbs saw him swing a wooden sword, they realized this was the weird sound!
Wait...since when did swinging a sword make this much noise?
They frowned. Every hit he made against the air made a loud as hell slash, and [Name] couldn't help but wonder who this boy was. But [Name] also realized why this sound was so familiar. It was the same one Myles made whenever they secretly watched him train on the Ariti training grounds. It really sounded like a Youtube audio effect to them.
