[3]: Forrest...in the Forest?

Start from the beginning

His eyes then caught glimpse of a very long line near the forest.

"Young master...I think that might be it" He pointed to it. [Name]'s eyes glistened and they grinned.

"Let's check it out then!"

Myles ended up being right, it was the new--and very busy--donut shop that just opened. They plopped right in line and waited. [Name] wasn't the most patient person to date, but if it was for sweets, they could hold out for a little longer.

And so ensued Myles entertaining [Name] with some ice magic tricks, for an hour or two.

When it was finally their turn, [Name] thought their legs would finally collapse from standing for so long. The burgundy-haired boy quickly made an ice block for them to sit on before that happened. Surprisingly comfy (and not that cold)! But then [Name] thought: Why didn't you do that in first place???

"One glazed, one strawberry cream, one blueberry-filled, one custard, one Boston Kreme, and one (f/d) please." [Name] grinned, Myles had remembered their favorite donut flavor - how sweet. After getting the receipt, a thin, floating transparent template with the order and date on it, the duo went over to sit on nearby bench near the forest to eat their donuts.

"Ahhh, I'm so excited to try this!" [Name] exclaimed, immediately pulling out the custard donut. They were going to save their favorite for last!

Myles glanced at them, a small smile on his face. He took his own glazed donut out and took a small bite.

"!" His eyes widened. Soft and just the right amount of sweetness...only heavenly could describe it.

"Omg...this is so good-" [Name] thought the same. They eagerly gobbled their donut up, an expression of pure bliss on their face while doing so. Myles wanted to laugh at that, but it would be improper for a knight to laugh at their master. "Definitely worth the two-hour wait, right?"

"Indeed." He took another small bite. The two ate in a tranquil silence...until someone, or some lady, had to break it.

"HELP!" A woman called out, alerting both their attention. "THIEF! THIEF!!! THAT MAN STOLE MY PURSE!" [Name] nearly fell out of their seat while Myles instantly turned on guard mode. He caught glimpse of a man racing through the streets of Skya with a pouch of coins.

How strange, Skya's crime rate was extremely low - thievery on the streets was almost rare.

"Young master, stay here. I shall take care of it." Myles muttered under his breath. [Name] blinked. Was he really going to go after this adult man? They knew Myles was a talented knight, but they were still worried. From the looks of it, this man wasn't a noble (obviously), meaning there was a slim chance he had magic. Still, even with magic, could Myles beat someone twice his size?

Myles must have noticed their worrying, as he placed a hand on their shoulder. "Do not fret Young master. I have more than the necessary experience to deal with that scum." He smiled softly, before sprinting off in pursue of the criminal. [Name] watched him while continuing to eat their donut. Myles was right. If anything, they should have praying for the thief's sake. The Lambros family hated injustice, after all, and would never hold back against punishing criminals. Still it was weird, a crime happening in broad daylight?

If [Name] were in Vetros, Aeolus, or even Ceir - it would've made more sense. But Skya? In the books, it said that Goddess Destonia bestowed tranquility over her lands - literally. The lavender and purple trees here and there release a transparent mist, relaxing the nerves of any who inhales it. This mist made it hard to commit crimes or violence. [Name] themselves felt the effects of the mist. Normally, they'd be bouncing all over town. The mist made it so they just wanted to eat their donut in peace.
