(Clark met Chloe at the Daily Planet the next morning)
Chloe: "Uh oh. I take it the Kent/Lang wedding is indefinitely postponed."
Clark: "Let's just say things are..more than a little jumbled right now."
Chloe: "Well as someone who gets a kick out of un jumbling the weird and unexplained..lay it on me."
Clark: "..well I'm still not a hundred percent sure but...I think I saw my future self last night. And Lana and Lois."
(Chloe took that in with a surprised look for a moment)
Chloe: "Wow..um...sure didn't see that one coming. How do you know? What happened? Did they..tell you anything?"
(Clark shook his head)
Clark: "Not exactly but the um..Lois that was there. She um..she kissed me."
(Chloe was stunned)
Chloe: "Wha..?! Lois?? She'd sooner marry a lemur than want to be within five miles of you."
Clark: "Ouch. But that's what I thought too! But just..out of nowhere I started to feel...things.."
Chloe: "What sort of things? Like don't drink orange juice after brushing your teeth type things?"
Clark: "I think...between Lois and I..there was always something...more just beneath the surface. I guess I was just so focused on Lana for so long I...I couldn't really see it clearly...until now."
Chloe: "Wow..so what does this mean for you and our other LL girl?"
Clark: "Nothing would make her happier than if I ceased to exist at this point, Chloe. She threw the ring at us and kissed Lex."
Chloe: "....so I missed about a week's worth of shocking developments."
(Clark shrugged and nodded)
