Since When?

Truth Or Dare

     Elegaurde sat with her three friends around a circular table. They were just finishing their tea, and were ready to start their annual game of Truth or Dare. Tessa, a tall girl with well developed curves went first. As she spoke, her midnight-black hair swished against the warm
brown skin of her exposed back. Her icey blue eyes darted to Kylie, a shorter girl with blonde braids and green eyes. She had more of a girlish frame. (Picture Natsuki.)

     "Kylie." Tessa's clear voice rang out. "Truth or dare?"

     "Truth!" Replied Kylie, squeakily.

     "Are you in love with anyone?" Kylie looked severely taken aback by this question, and flushed a dark pink.

     "Yes..." She mumbled, quietly.

     "Whooo?" Aurora, a girl with steely grey eyes and firey red air demand.

     "Ah, ah, ah! You already wasted your question." Kylie scolded. Elegaurde giggled.

     "Elegaurde, truth or dare?"

     "Umm... dare."

     "I dare you to put shaving cream all over your face and act like you just lost a pie eating contest."

     "Oddly specific, but okay." Elegaurde did as she was instructed. After everyone had had a good laugh at the strawberry-blonde's antics, Tessa suggested something.

     "I say we play..." She waggled her eyebrows. "Spin the bottle + 7-Minutes in heaven. But no dancing the tango, Aurora." It was a running joke that Aurora had the dirtiest mind of the friend group. Elegaurde walked to the closet to grab a plastic water bottle. She set it down between the girls and took a spot next to Aurora. She spun the bottle and it landed on Tessa. Elegaurde blushed. She'd been in love with Tessa for a while.

     They made their way to the closet, Elegaurde deciding to confess after years of childhood friendship hiding her feelings for Tess. She was significantly taller than Tessa, so it was easy to seem intimidating.

     She sighed.

     "Okay, Tess, listen. Damn, this is awkward to say...."

     "Whatever it is, I won't judge you."

     "Is it okay if I just show you what I mean?"  

     Tess nodded. She grabbed one of Tessa's wrists with one hand, while caressing her face carefully with the other.

     "Woah- umm. El-" Elegaurde had interrupted her with a light peck on the lips.

     "I love you." She said.

     "Yeah, I got that. I love you too."
