"Hello?"
"Hey Sundrop, it's me..Moondrop."
"Moon! You actually called me!"
Sundrop's voice echoed through the device with happiness. I stretched out on my bed tired of doing homework. His voice was high pitched and sweet and it made me blush a little bit. He was a kind hearted boy who had a terrible boyfriend. How does he even put up with him? Or is he nice when their alone? It's not my business anyways.
"Moon? Are you there!" His voice cut in.
"Oh, yeah sorry."
"That's alright! What are you doing right now?"
"Just homework. What about you?"
"Homework as well."
"I see."
We talked some more but only for a few minutes then sat in silence for a while. I could hear Sun shift around and breath quietly. I was going to say something until he interrupted.
"I have to go now sorry!" He said.
"That's fine I do as well."
"..Hey?"
"Yeah..?"
"D-Do you maybe.. want to grab coffee before school tomorrow?"
His voice stuttered at the beginning and weakened at the end, he sounded nervous. I smiled behind the screen.
"Sure Sun."
With that we hung up on each other. I knew he was happy on the other side. I was even happy myself. I'll see him tomorrow but for now, homework.
