Caressing her cheek l, her aunt smiled dotingly " you are so cute when you're all about food".
Karina stood on the stairway and watched them for a while, sometimes she felt like her mom loves her aunt Corrine more than she loves her.
Feigning anger " save some for mom, I don't you are my sometimes. You are always all over her " she voiced out her thoughts.

They both giggled, before Corrine could reply another voice boomed " Don't worry  baby, I will  always be over you" Dame Lewis replied while shutting the door to his room.
The house was a simple duplex with 5 rooms up the stairs which one of it has been converted to a workshop for Catherine and another a study for her husband.

Below was the sitting room, kitchen,dining, store room and a recreational room.
" Uncle Dame, that's not fair is it?"  Karina showed an horrified look and ran to her dad, holding him tight
" You snatched my mom and now you wanna snatched my dad, there's no way I'm allowing that" she held onto her father with a determined look.

Corrine was speechless for a while before she burst out in laughter.
" Good morning uncle " Corrine greeted as she placed a kiss on his cheek as if determined to annoy Karina.
Karina pouted and gave her father a betrayed look and turned her face the other way.

Then she was suddenly pulled into a warm, soft embrace by Corrine who blew hot air into her ears, Karina couldn't hold her expression and giggled before burying her face into Corrine's embrace
" You can have them both Aunt, I'll just have you" she said in a whispering tone.

Corrine pushed her shoulder a bit to look at her, she felt really touched by her words and she knew Karina meant it. "You know I'm greedy, I want you all" she replied back in whispers and pulled her back into her embrace with a smouldering kiss on her head.
" Okay, but now you have everyone, you have to give me that thing" Karina said with a sly glint in her eyes
And at that moment Corrine knew she has been baited.

Meanwhile the couple had their morning kiss and now we're staring at the hugging sisters, Aunt Catherine looks like blissful and distant as she stared at them with a smile and watery eyes.

After the little reunion Corrine helped Catherine in preparing breakfast, not long after Spaghetti Bolognese, Double Cheese pancakes with butter dipping was served. Q hot chocolate for Karina and coffee for others.

There was no such thing as a quiet meal in the house, Dame Lewis would say " if you choked on your food, it was a lovely thing to get pats. So why would anyone keep quiet and miss a possible pat"
They laughed and discussed heartily as they ate.

After breakfast Karina went to her mother's workshop up the stairs, she loved what her mother does and has shown interest since she was 5.
Corrine was done with the dishes and was about to settle down to see a movie on Netflix when she felt the stares.

" Okay guys, stop creeping me out and just spit the it out" she said when she couldn't take their stare anymore
Catherine moved closer to her in the love seat and held her hands " Corrine you know I love you just as I do to my daughter, and I wouldn't want you to feel bad. So tell Aunt if you don't want the Nathan guy, Dame will find a way around it........right Dame? " She looked for her husband for support .
He nodded and moved forward " Corrine I'm sorry for imposing on you like this, I can't help but feel guilty for what happened. So if you have someone you like or if you don't like him you don't have to be with him just for the company sake  I........"
" Hey guys slow down " she said with a chuckle " firstly, I don't have a crush or something and about Nathan Burrows I don't hate him, he's a great guy and he's handsome, right? ......there's no harm in getting to know him and if I still don't like him then we can have this discussion again. You know I don't go against my feelings no matter the situation" the couple nodded in relief. Catherine pulled her into a hug and Dame patted her hands with a smile.
