"And a bit of a party pooper," Eugene added.

"No way! Guys!  Look!  We used to have a top just like this!" Varian climbed on a stepping stool to grab the spin toy.

"Varian!  Get down from there! You'll fall!"

"Cass," Varian protested as he stepped down with the top.  "Stop.  I'm fine.  Stop treating me like I can't do anything."

"You can barely walk without a staff," Cassandra pointed out.

Varian merely handed her his staff and walked away to prove he didn't need it.  But it was easy to tell that it was easier on him with it.  He sat down with Rapunzel, handing her the top.  "Remember it?"

Rapunzel grinned.  "We used to have so much fun with it."

"Well, at least until we drove mother nuts playing with it all the time. Then she said we were too old for it and tossed it out the tower," Cassandra muttered.  "I'm going to check on Lance and see where he went."

"I'll go with you," Andrew said.

"Nah, I'm fine.  You play with the top."

He sighed, but let her go.  She wasn't gone but two minutes when she felt something tap on her armor.  She looked down.  There was a little girl with familiar long blond hair and green eyes holding a baby with a familiar blue stripe in his hair.

"Raps!" Cassandra cried in horror.  "Varian?"

"Hey!  I had it first!"

"No, you didn't!"

Cassandra looked over to the argument seeing two children fighting over a stuffed bear.  "Andrew!  Eugene!" She ran a hand through her hair, trying to calm herself.  The two stopped arguing for a second when they heard their names, but inevitably went back to their bickering.

A baby crying made her jerk her head back to Varian and Rapunzel.  But Rapunzel was gone and Varian had just been left on the cold floor.  Cassandra quickly scooped him up.  "Hush, don't cry.  It's ok." She bounced him a little, but it wasn't making him any quieter.

Suddenly, she found Rapunzel who was swinging from a rafter. Cassandra had forgotten that she used to do that. "Best. Playtime. Ever!"

"Lance!" Cassandra called.

The man in question rolled out of a pile of toys.  "You called?"

"Yes, I need help!"

Lance stood up and looked at the bundle in her arms.  "Woah, you and Andrew work fast.

"No, you idiot!  Everyone else has been turned into children!"

"Wait, you're serious?"

She pointed at Eugene.  Lance gasped.

"What are we supposed to do?  I knew something was wrong and we shouldn't touch anything.  Gosh, has no one learned to listen to anything I say?  Varian, please stop screaming in my ear, I can't think!"

Lance turned to the other three.  "Alright!  Listen up, you three!"

They ignored him.  Except Rapunzel who stopped swinging to look at him.

"Hold on, I got an idea," Lance said.  "Attention soldiers!" Have gave a dramatic salute.  Eugene and Andrew scrambled to stand up straight and return the salute.

"I wanna try!" Rapunzel jumped down and stood by Eugene doing the same thing.

"Well done, soldiers," Lance praised.  "Do any of you remember what happened before you were turned into kids?"

"Oh, we were playing with the top," Rapunzel said.

"Good, can you go get it?"

"Nope."

Lance was surprised for a moment.  "No?  Why not?"

"Because Eugene broke it."

"I did not!" Eugene protested.

"You did too!  You threw it at the airplane on the ceiling to get it down and you broke both of them!" Andrew accused.

"The impact broke it.  Not me." Eugene crossed his arms and humphed.

"Hopefully we didn't need that." Lance passed Cassandra a fearful look.  "Ok, let's pick up all its pieces and we're going to work together to fix it."

"But that's boring!" Eugene whined.

"Nope.  You broke it.  It's not yours.  You need to fix it," Cassandra said.  "We're honest here."

"Fiiiiiiine," he grumbled.

"This is going to be a long night..." Cassandra groaned as Varian continued to scream in her arms.
