Infinity War

"Thanos?" Tony cocked an eyebrow, "That's the guy you were telling us about?" He looked back at Strange

Strange stared at him for a moment before nodding.

"This is Thanos?" Drax narrowed his eyes, his hands itching for their blades.

[Loki is seen with the Black Order. He watches Thanos.]

"Do you know him?" Gamora turned around to look at Loki

He stared her, "Do you know him?"

She looked at him for a moment before turning back towards the screen.

Thanos: [Looking out the large window we saw at the end of "Thor: Ragnarok".] I know what it's like to lose.

"This is him?" Steve furrowed his brow

Bucky frowned, "I guess so."

To feel so desperately that you're right... yet to fail, nonetheless. [grabs Thor by the head.]

Thor clenched his jaw.

It's frightening. Turns the legs to jelly. I ask you, to what end? Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say...I AM.

"He was always one for the dramatics." Nebula crossed her arms

[Thanos holds up his hand to reveal the Infinity Gauntlet, which already hosts the Power Stone.]

"No!" Gamora gasped

"How did he get that?" Rocket stood up in his seat

(A/N: ok, so um I should have said this at the end of WV when the Guardians took their seats but I forgot and I don't know how to organically put it in here but I think it's cute so I'm throwing it in right now. Rockets seat formed a booster seat for him when he sat down so he could see since he smol)

Groot tilted his head, "I am Groot?"

Quill nodded, "I with him." He looked at Gamora, "Who is this?"

She looked at him, "My father." She whispered

Thor: [exhaustedly spitting blood from his mouth] You talk too much.

"This guy really did a number on you." Tony looked back at Thor

Thor grimaced, "I can see that."

Thanos: [to Loki] The Tesseract, or your brother's head. I assume you have a preference.

Thor side eyed Loki, "We don't have it. It was destroyed with Asgard. Right?"

Loki squirmed in his seat.

Loki: Oh, I do. Kill away!

"No surprise there!" Clint rolled his eyes

[Thanos sets the gauntlet on Thor's temple. The power stone glows brightly. Thor suffers in pain.]

A part of the group looked away. Another grimaced. The other either covered their moths or their mouths hung open.

Loki: [cringing and looking away from his brother's pain and has just thought for a few seconds] ALRIGHT, STOP!

"Hm." Fury grunted

Thor: We don't have the Tesseract. It was destroyed on Asgard.

Loki looked from Thor back to the screen.

"What happened to Asgard?" Shuri looked up at the brothers

"That's a very long story." Loki sighed, "In short, lots of fire."
