Chapter 9 The Rumors Spread

As Ozpin keeps thinking and finding answers, his assistant, Glynda Goodwitch, arrives in his office by using the elevator and she walks toward him. She is holding a folder.

Glynda: (hands out another report) Here you go, sir.

Ozpin: Thank you, Glynda.

Glynda: Is something wrong, headmaster?

Ozpin: I'm fine. It's just I was shocked when I saw the news.

Glynda: About the "Unknown Soldiers"?

Ozpin: Yes, them. This unknown group has been doing a tremendous job across the kingdoms, better than Atlas. When team CFVY arrived back from the mission I gave them, they found the village is empty without a trace. More villages are reported empty too. Glynda, I think this new group is more advance than Atlas and they don't want to be found.

Glynda: Is that why you send Qrow to find them?

Ozpin: Yes. We must find them quick before James does. You'll know what happens if he finds them?

Glynda: He will negotiate with them for their weapons and technology to use against our enemies.

Ozpin: Yes, and if it gets to the wrong hands.

Glynda: There will be chaos across Remnant.

Ozpin" Exactly. We must find them first before James does.

Glynda: Yes sir.

Ozpin: And Glynda before you leave, is there any trace on Mr. Arc?

Glynda: (saddened) Sadly, no...... There has been no trace of Mr. Arc...... His family is worried sick.

Ozpin: (sighs) Very well then. Thank you, Glynda.

Glynda then leaves Ozpin as she heads towards the elevator and leaves. As Ozpin is alone, he takes off his glasses as he is very worried about Jaune. Last year, when Cardin showed Jaune's fake transcript, Ozpin and his staff were so angry at him when Velvet told him that Jaune saved Cardin from an Ursa. During this discovery, Ozpin called Cardin's father and talked to him about his son's actions. He was angry about what he has done to Jaune so he told his son to tell everyone the truth. 

After he told the truth, everyone who hurt Jaune realized they did bad things to him and started to get angry at Cardin and his team. The only people who stand on Jaune's side are Team RWBY, NPR, SSSN, and CFVY. Soon, Ozpin received word from his family to find him. He even heard that Jaune's father was beaten by their mother. 

When Qrow came back to look for Jaune, he found only his armor and sword with blood on them, making Ozpin think that Jaune is dead. When Ozpin showed it to his family, they don't believe it, they know Jaune is still alive out there. They refuse to accept that Jaune is dead. They won't give up until they find him. And so, Ozpin and the Arc family made out missing posters for Jaune Arc, hoping if any people found or encountered him.

Ozpin: (though) "Where are you, Mr. Arc?"

Atlas, Counsel Room

At Atlas, the council is in a meeting at they are discussing the "Unknown Soldiers".

Atlas Male Counsel 2: Do you believe that these "Unknown Soldiers" have the weapons that can go through the aura?

Atlas Male Counsel 6: Yes. Maybe if we find those unknown groups, we should ask them to trade their weapons and technology for our government.

Atlas Female Counsel: Yes, imagine if we can win the war against the Grimm and the White Fang with the use of their weapons and technology. This will show the entire world that Atlas will be their protector.
