Lunch Date

"This food is so good" Iris stuff her mouth "this why I like coming here, they never fail me"

"Your stomach gon be hurting with all that grease" chilli said feeding zara mash potatoes

"The food is really good" Tboz said in amazement looking at Iris

"I know you would love it" Iris smile "we should order Asian wings next"

"Iris come onnn, that's hoggish ways" Adrian said

"Shut up Adrian" she roll her eyes

"Make me....

"Ok cut it out" Tboz tap Adrian "and wipe your mouth"

They all sit at the table, looking like their old selves. Like a family. Tboz stole 1 or 2 glances and chilli, but she completely ignore it. She kept her eyes on Zara making sure she was eating all of her food

They two never say that much eachother, when they ask questions about the kids and went back on their zone

"Thank you for coming mom, I know it's almost time for you to go" Iris look at her with emotions

The table went quiet except for Zara, she call out for her mom clapping her hands

"Mama! Mamamama" she stuff her fingers in her mouth

"I'll have a day plan for us tomorrow, if I'm not busy, or you can come over"

"No she's not" chilli finally speak not looking at Tboz 

"Why? It's just to spend time with me" 

Iris palmed her forehead knowing where this was going

"Mom it's okay, I'll go" Iris said looking at her hard

Ignoring all of this, Adrian was on his hand video game minding his business

"I'll pick you up at 11AM" tboz look at Iris stroking her hair "Kayla is going to be there"

The emotions in chilli face was noticeable, but she try hard to hide it sipping her drink

"Mom it's ok, I sure Lyte is going to keep you occupied" Iris smile

Tboz look at chilli hard, chilli look at Iris with her eyes open wide

"What?" Iris smile went straight ..... "y'all not together no more, why so much reaction from you both?" Iris ask giggling "anyhow can we leave, I have to help Alexis and Aubrey with some school work"

Minutes went by and Tionne paid for the whole bill, not giving chilli a chance to put her card on the table, their hands touch but chilli move hers looking at Tionne confuse, I said I'll pay for it

"You doing to much talking, just get the kids and take them to the car" she said waiting for the waiter to bring her card back

Iris was already walking off, Adrian followed, then chilli and Zara

They walk out walking towards the car

"So you enjoyed lunch?"

"Yeah it was good, the food was a 10" Iris smile
