"You really think she'd meet up?" Camilo asked as you waited outside the school
"Of course she will, I know myself" you responded as you sat on a bench
A few minutes later the girl showed up looking so confused
"What the fu- who are you?!" She asked
"Look, I'm you from another universe and-"
"What?!" She couldn't process what's happening.
She couldn't take her eyes off you.
"Look, I need your help" you placed a hand on her shoulder and pleaded
"We- No. My parents. They... They uh... Messed up the multiverse"
"How- explain!"
"I'm trying! They brought me here because they didn't approve of me and my ex boyfriend. You know Carlos Madrigal?"
"Yes! He's my ex boyfriend!"
"Does he look like him?" You pulled Camilo towards you and showed him to the girl
"No, he had darker hair covering one eye but yes, he had green eyes" she explained
"If you tap on the tagged account on one of your posts, it leads to Camilo's account"
"How do you even know that?"
"Doesn't matter. I'm Carlos' only girlfriend. I mean ex. And he's from another universe. Where does your Carlos live?"
"3 blocks away from here, but hw suddenly disappeared." She bowed her head, sad.
"I need you to help me- us fix this, please." You tilted her head up and squeezed her shoulders and looked at her with pleading eyes
"I-" she looked away with an unreadable expression
"I'm sorry, but I can't do that" she gently brushed your hands off
"No. Y/O/S, please, y-you can't-"
You tried to grab her.
She looked at you while your gentle grip is still on her wrist
"You mess it up, you fix it." She pulled her hand away and walked off.
Mirabel walked behind you and rested a hand on your shoulder.
Your head was bowed in dismay.
"Y/N, it's okay. We can still fix this. We don't need her." She said
"Yeah, we're strong enough to solve this" Camilo assured
"I can't believe it" you sniffled in dismay and wiped a tear of disappointment off your face.
"You're right, let's stop wasting time and fix this" you said and walked off
