"Were you guys trying to open it? I opened it"

His eyes spotted Camilo and they exchanged a look of confusion.

You looked at the two back and forth.

"Who the hell are you?!" Camilo snarled
"Me?! Who the Hell ARE YOU!" The guy retorted

They glared at each other.

"Guys calm down." You went in the middle to stop any future attacks
"I'm Y/N," You introduced

"Okay and?" He snobby face annoyed you so much

"Look, We're all trapped in here so please learn to cooperate" You demanded as you shot a finger at his face

"Alright. I'm Carlos" He introduced
Camilo refused to introduce.
He folded his arms and went to the corner

"That's Camilo" you pointed at the boy

"We need to get out of here" he defensively pulled you away from the boy.

Carlos started scanning the room

"What does this lever do?" He asked from another room

You hurried towards the boy in excitement
"Turn it on! Turn it on!" You eagerly commanded
"You're such a lifesaver" you added

He flicked the lever on and an unpleasant sound echoed across the room.
The hard clay slope started separating, creating a stair like structure good enough to climb.

You ran to the boy and cocooned him tight in your arms.
"Thank you Thank you Thank you" you smiled with gratitude til Camilo pulled you away

"Let's get out of here" He said as he gently dragged you away to the stairs.

"Y/N? Camilo? Where are you guys?" worried screams clouded the atmosphere

The moment you popped out, Mirabel came running and squeezed you and her cousin tight

"Oh my god you guys are wounded" she scanned your bandaged arms and worriedly looked at you.

She noticed Carlos and gave a look of confusion

"Oh this is Carlos!" you pulled the boy and introduced him to your friend
"He saved us from that I dunno lab I guess" you smiled

"Hi! Name's Mirabel" she reached her hands out but he just snobbed and walked off

"Sorry about that, he's just snobby" you rolled your eyes and chuckled.

Everyone came to hug the both of you.
An old man came running in panic, breaking you guys apart.
He was the man from the camping site.

"Did you guys open it?! No no no It's not ready yet" he grabbed his hair and started breathing heavily in panic.

The man scanned the scene and noticed how Carlos was left and not recognized

"Him!" He pointed at Carlos.
The three of you exchanged looks of fear, as Carlos walked up to you and Camilo. You knew what he was talking about.

"He wasn't wi- who is he" He suspiciously yelled, pointing at Carlos

"He's not our friend" Camilo angrily told the man as he shrugged

"I knew it! You opened it" He angrily yelled

"No no, he isn't our friend because They're twins" you awkwardly laughed

"Camilo doesn't have a twin" someone from the crowd yelled.

You looked panic
"They aren't. I just like to call them twins" you awkwardly chuckled
You needed a new excuse.
You needed to get out of this mess

"He's my boyfriend" you blurted out as you clung onto Carlos' arm.
You didn't know what you said.
You just unconsciously blurted out an excuse

Carlos looked agitated as he played along while Camilo looked unhappy.
"I call them twins because they style in the same way" There's no way he'll buy that excuse

But to your surprise, he did.
He said he was too tired to even argue so you had to pay for whatever consequences will your actions bring.
You kept his words in mind.

You started to walk to the camping site when Camilo took your hand and slowed you down, leaving you guys behind the crowd.

"Boyfriend?!" He angrily whispered
He looked unhappy.
"I didn't know what I was saying okay? Plus we needed an excuse" you explained to the boy
"You should've said something else!" He yelled, causing the crowd to look at him.

Carlos slowed down and rested his arm on your shoulder
"Jealous?" He smirked
You brushed of his arm
"You are not my boyfriend! I just needed an excuse! I didn't even know what I said" you angrily explained to the boy.

"You still picked me to be the boyfriend." He teased

Camilo grabbed him by the collar and looked at him furiously
"That's because you're the stranger in the group! If she said it was me, that wouldn't explain your presence!" He snapped

Carlos gently took off Camilo's hand from his collar
"Slow down Mr.Boyfriend, no need to be jealous. Remember, I am you in another dimension or you are me in another dimension. It's clear I am from the cooler dimension" he snarled with a smug smile and pushed him off to get back to the crowd

"You're such a Jerk, Carlos!" You yelled and looked at Camilo
"And you, what are you so mad about?!" You looked at him with anger and caught up to the crowd

Everyone was back at the camping site.

You walked up to Carlos to ask for any information about where he came from.

"I was just wandering around til I fell into a damn hell hole" he explained as he continued gathering wood for the campfire.
"I found this door and the doorknob looked like someone was trying to open it so I opened it out of curiosity" he added.

"And you decided to stay here" you scoffed and chuckled

"What's wrong with wanting to try something new?" He replied as he gathered more woods.

"I think that's enough wood, Carlos" you took some of the wood from his arms
"Enough is never enough, Y/N" he chuckled and snatched the wood from your arms

"Can I at least help?" You requested
"Fine" He handed you three sticks
"That should be heavy enough" he teased as he walked off

"Hey, Jerk, that's- just give me some"
You chased after him and demanded for wood.

You bugged him continuously.
You made sure to be louder than the rustling leaves and the cicadas to annoy him into letting you help.

He eventually gave up and surrendered you half of the wood he's carrying.

You had a great talk.
"So where's Mr.Snobby?" You teased as you realized his attitude was gone

He looked at you blankly and it gave an unsettling feeling.
He then chuckled.
"That was stupid"

The dark blue sky illuminated with stars started to get darker as the wind started getting colder.

The fire glowed bright orange, lighting up the place.

The talking and laughing was loud but felt tranquil.
Everything was perfect.
