"I'd like you to meet my family Mr Shelby"her fathers voice came closer.Y/n was getting tired standing on such long heels that she took a glass of whiskey without her mother noticing and sipped it silently behind her
"This is my wife,Ameria l/n"tommy nodded at her and shook hands with her
"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr Shelby"
"It's all mine madam"he cleared his throat,his eyes found Asteria first and he stared at her plainly
"Yes this is my oldest daughter,Asteria"her mother smiled.Asteria smiled innocently at Tommy
"Pleasure to meet you Mr Shelby"she said.Tommy nodded at her,John and Arthur looked at each other behind Tommy
"This is Arthur my oldest brother,and this is john"
"Nice to meet ya love"arthur smirked and john scratched his nose with his thumb to hide his laugh.Tommy eyed them once before they stopped
"And this is y/n,my younger daughter"her father said proudly,her mother looked behind to see y/n leaning against the wall with a glass in her hands
"Jesus y/n"her mother said before taking the glass from her and she raised her eyebrows and stood back up
Tommy's eyes went from her sister to her.
"Nice to meet you"she said.Her mother cleared her throat trying to tell her to speak like a lady
"Nice to meet you"she smiled ear to ear and bowed at them.Arthur and john snorted a little and y/n smirked seeing the look of irritation on her mothers face and the look of pride on her fathers face
"Let's sit shall we"her father said yet tommy didn't remove his eyes from hers feeling extremely intimidated by her for some reason
Y/n sat down in front of Tommy and that was a bad decision because he just won't look away and would stare at her non chalantly

"Did you drive Mr Shelby?"her sister asked.Tommy without pulling away answered
"Yes"
"I've heard you have an interest in cars"her mother said and he nodded
"But I'm Curious,what was your fathers profession?"she further asked
"Well he uh he told fortune and stole horses"is all he said.Y/n took a sip of her wine and looked at him
"That's growth mr Shelby,I'm impressed at what you've made of yourself today.Your business,words spreading about it quick"her father said and for once tommy looked away and thanked him
Y/n felt uneasy for some reason under his gaze but let it go away because he wanted to worry about the dress she was in right now
The family talked to them for a while over dinner,after that they went onto the business part and started discussing terms and conditions of the deal
Y/n was the person who was going to sign the deal so her decision mattered but right now she was very uncomfortable in the dress
"Mother I think Asteria needs help in the kitchen.The chef has spilled the food everywhere"y/n walked from the back corridor over to the table
"Dear god if you can't do the work just say so!"her mother stood up and rushed to the kitchen downstairs
Y/n smirked to herself feeling free finally
"Y/n come sit down.We're about to take vote"her father said and Tommy looked up from the papers to her.Y/n smiled at her father
"Just give me ten minutes father I'm dying here"she whispered.Her father nodded and she rushed away to get changed
And Tommy watched her and bore into her back till she was gone
She came back after ten minutes as promised but it would've been better if she had asked for longer since her hair were tied in so many pins and the dress was so hard to take off
"Right I'm here"she sighed and rolled her sleeves of her shirt up.The brothers all looked up together at her,not to lie but suits suited her
She sat down beside her father with her legs crossed.She took the page in hand and signed on it,her father did too and then Tommy arthur and john did and finally closed the deal
"Alright our work here is done.Thank you Mr l/n for having us"tommy stood up adjusting his coat
"Thank you Mr Shelby but feel free to stay here for the night"her father said
"That's alright Mr l/n,we have a hotel to ourselves"tommy looked into y/n's eyes before he told his brothers that they were leaving
"Have a great night Mr Shelby"y/n smirked crossing her arms behind her back.Tommy licked his lips and nodded
"You too"
