For the first five days, India pretended to not see Kevin outside of her ballet school on the other side of the sidewalk.

She pretended to not feel his stare burning on her at school, during lunch or in class.

She thought everything was just a coincidence or just her mind playing tricks on her whenever she glimpsed a mass of raven hair through the window of her ballet school, just for it to vanish seconds later after the passing of a bus.

But days later, she started to feel more and more observed even when she was completely alone at home and she couldn't shake that feeling away. It was during that monday evening that she caught Kevin passing by her house, hands in his pockets and his gaze fixed on the window of her living room. She met his eyes through the glass as she gulped, holding the curtain fabric with a strong grip.

Was it just a coincidence?

Had he always observed her?

How couldn't she notice?

Or maybe she did, she just felt stupid to even think that someone could be so obsessed by her. But, ironically, she never noticed him till that moment because she was always too busy with herself, meaning that now the people obsessed with her were two. She only acknowledged his presence in that moment because her body was too exhausted to keep practicing even at home that day, so she decided to relax while trying to remain productive, that's why she started to clean a bit her house to get rid of the dust. Usually, she did the house cleaning in the week-end with the help of her mother, but for her cleaning and keeping everything perfect was therapeutic and a way to relax.

So while she cleaned her window, she finally noticed Kevin Khatchadourian.

Kevin stopped in his tracks, slightly smirking at her, a look of challenge in his dark eyes. India was creeped out, her mouth felt dry and suddenly she didn't feel hungry anymore, devoured by anxiety. But she couldn't show him that she was scared, so she kept a neutral expression as she maintained the eye contact.

India was, in fact, more mad than scared, because he had no right to violate her privacy like that. She felt a rush of anger going through her as she glared at him. Kevin then started to walk away, looking away from India and setting his eyes on the road ahead of him.

But India wasn't gonna let him go that easily.

With her white nightgown on, she quickly grabbed her jacket and slipped into a pair of white ballerinas while putting it on. She grabbed her keys, her fingertips shaking but not out of fear but because adrenaline was pumping in her veins. She opened the door, closing it behind her as she started to reach Kevin with a quick pace.

"Hey you!" She exclaimed with a loud tone, voice full of self-confidence.

Kevin stopped on the spot, hands still buried in his pockets. The sky was already starting to darken, becoming a deeper shade of blue. The boy slowly turned his face towards the direction of the blonde haired girl, trying to contain his smirk. India walked closer to him with her back straight and her head high, wind hitting her face and making her feel cold as she finally stood in front of the taller boy.

"Can i help you?" Kevin simply said with an amused tone.

India never heard his voice before, it was the first time; raspy and not too deep.

"What are you trying to do?" She kept a serious expression, eyebrows furrowed, letting him know that she wasn't intimidated by him. Kevin raised an eyebrow, acting like he didn't know what she was talking about. "You're following me."

Kevin softly chuckled, licking his lips. The situation was exciting him.

"And why would i do that, mh?" He got closer to India, smelling the apple shampoo and the vanilla perfume.
