We arrived at the supermarket and there were so many things to see. there were toys and so much candy I wanted to go see them until someone took my arm "Hey Lils remember we are in a grocery store and it can be dangerous so you have to stay with us at all times capishi?" Kate told me crouching down to my height "Capishi" I replied
I was in the middle of Katie and Yelena holding their hands as we walked down the long halls. "Well, what do you think we should get first?" Yelena asks us "CANDY" I yelled excited "Okay first stop candies!" Yelena says getting me on her back and spinning me around while Kate laughs
We arrived at the candies section and there were a lot of them and of all colors I wanted to take them all "Okay Lily grab the candy you want I'll pay" Yelena says making me run out to grab all the candy possible while in the background I hear "You don't have to pay for everything, it's my sister, I'll pay." I hear Kate say but I don't pay much attention. "Don't worry about it Kate let her be happy" Yelena says and then I hear a kissing noise but I don't pay attention since I was more focused making all the candy fit in my hands. When I have all the candy I return with Kate and Yelena "Wow look at you you're a candy monster, I just hope that you sleep tonight." Kate tells me as Yelena helps me get all the candy into the cart.
As we walked through the aisles I see the toy section there were so many toys, I see that Yelena and Kate are busy talking and seeing what Chips to buy so I decide to run to the toy section hoping they wouldn't see me, it would only be a minute they won't notice that I left
Kate's POV
Yelena and I were looking at what chips to buy, we were between Takis fuego or Chips fuego but we ended up buying both and some barbecue chips for Lily since they are her favorite. I was going to ask Lily if she wanted another kind of chips but when I turned around I didn't see her Yelena saw my concern and asked me "Hey are you okay Kate?" Yelena asks me putting her hand on my shoulder "Where is Lily, she was here a second ago" I say looking around looking for Lily "Lily? Lily is- WHERE IS LILY" Yelena says taking my hand to start looking for Lils
We looked all over the candy and fruit aisles since Lily loves them but there was no sign of her.
Lily's POV
I grabbed the stuffie that I liked the most and decided to go back to show it to Katie and Yelena but when I arrived they were gone so I started to worry what if they abandoned me? Or if I never see them again, it was the only thing I could think about while I started to feel several tears falling. "Katie!" I yelled in a whisper but no one answered
I was waiting in the hall for about 10 minutes while I hugged the toy until a man approached me and told me "Hello, are you here with someone?" I didn't answer and just stared at him with fear "Come with me, I'll take you home" the man told me, kneeling down to hold me but I walked away.
"Let's see if we can do this the good way or the bad way, you decide" that's when it started to scare me more so I ran away but the man was faster and caught me trying to carry me while I wiggle out of him embrace and hit him but then I heard a familiar voice. "LILY! HEY LET HER GO" Katie yelled as she ran towards the man and me, the man saw Kate's bow and just let me fall and ran away, I cried very hard because in addition to being scared when the man let me fall he hurt me arm. Katie ran to me and picked me up bouncing me and whispering sweet nothings to my ear that helped me calm down more "Shh it's fine you're with us don't worry" Kate told me "We will never let anything happen to you Lils" Yelena told me stroking my hair. I no longer knew what else happened since I fell asleep.
When I woke up I was on the couch at home and the table was full of candy and chips and the TV was on ready to put on a movie, Yelena and Kate came into the living room. Kate with her glass of water and a sippy cup. "Hey there sleepy beauty how are you?, looked what I brought you" Katie told me giving me my sippy cut with apple juice "I'm fine, and I'm sorry for running off like that" I said rubbing my eyes and taking a sip of the apple juice. "Well that doesn't matter now, what matters is that you are safe" Yelena told me as she and Kate sat next to me.
We spend the whole afternoon watching movies snuggling together.
