Chose Wisely

It's the first day of the new week and I had to wake up early to hide the hickey Brady gave me. "Gray did you get it covered" ben asks "yea I got it does it look good" i ask "yes did you use waterproof spray" "yes I did" "good ok get in the car let's go" and we get into the car to head to the studio.

We head into pyramid and I'm standing next to Brady and Gia and Abby comes in and Joanne starts playing victim and it's just turning into a fight between her and Ashley and Gia starts crying and Abby yells at her and we head into the pyramid and at the bottom is Gia next is Sarah up next is Pressley next is Savannah next is Hannah next is Brady next is Graylynn and on top of the pyramid is Lily. "This week are going back to Ohio and we are going to attend a press ions Dance Competition the group routine is entitled The Healer and you all we have disabilities that need to be healed and Brady is going to be my healer there will be 3 duets when I call you name step forward Pressley, Lily, Gray, and Brady now I've already chosen a duet out of the 3 Gray and Brady you will be partners this week Presley and Lily you both will pick your partners and the only way that I can light a fire under your lazy butts is to say goodbye to one member of this team so in the next few weeks one dancer will be saying goodbye Presley have you made your decision" Abby says "yes I will be picking Sarah because I think we both can prove to you that me are meant to be here" Pressley says "ok come stand up here with her Lily your turn" abby says "Based on a performance last week I think I'm gonna choose Hannah" Lily says "all right Hannah congratulations all right let's get ready for this number"

"Ok so we are at a church and we have the healer and so let's start" Abby says

Interview:
"So Miss Abby has given us our parts and I'm playing a character who's mute like what and I have to have a piece of duct tape over my mouth" i say "do you think she's gonna have you and Brady kiss" Ben says "well I think we just figured out the mystery" i say

"Gray you're a mute so we are going to have this piece of duct tape over your mouth and so we get through this part and you do your tilt and while your in the tilt Brady grabs your top hand and pulls the tape off and pull you up and then you kiss for 4 counts got it" Abby says "yes" Brady and I say and we do it and he goes reach me and i overextended my tilt and I started to fall and I hit the floor and Brady is right next to me "you good Gray" he asks "yep I'm good I think I forgot my own flexibility for a second" i say rubbing my neck "ok let me start with Gray and Brady" Abby says
Bens POV:
"Ouch that fall must have hurt" i say "yea wait what's on grays neck" Ashley says "it looks like a hickey" Ann says "yea it does" Tricia says "Ben did you know" Joanne asks "yea but she's a teenager it's going to happen and as long as it's just getting hickeys it's better than what could happen" i say "I agree fully with that but now I have to talk to Brady" Tricia says "well I just know my Gia wouldn't show up to dance with hickeys on her neck" Joanne says and I try to ignore her but jeez is this woman annoying I see Gray look up at me and I can tell she can read our lips "guys fighting isn't the answer you know we all parent different ways and honestly I can parent my child the way I want to" i say "well it doesn't matter she was my child first" Joanne says "but you didn't want her you wanted one of your children Gray felt like she didn't belong anywhere because of you and now that she's with me shes actually happy because I'm not yelling at her for the smallest things" I say "ok let's just calm down we don't need the kids in on this" Stacey says "no Stacey this is a matter between me and Ben and honestly I don't like how you're parenting her she's been too stuck up and she thinks she's better than everyone else and we don't need someone like that on this team" Joanne says "ok you know what I'm done with fighting for today we should be adults and you can judge parenting styles on your own time but right now we are here for our kids so Tricia can you take Graylynn home I have to get some stuff done for projects" i say "I sure can take her home do you just want her to stay so you can get your work done" Tricia asks "yes please thank you so much" I say "no problem Graylynn is always welcome" she says I walk downstairs and i gee Gianna "hey Gianna can you let Graylynn know Tricia is taking her home and she's staying over there" i ask "yes i can" she says "thank you" i say
Graylynns POV:
"Ok so this duet is entitled lay me down it's a contemporary piece and there's a ton of hard lifts so safety first" Abby says and we start learning the dance and it's really pretty and we finished it in an hour "ok good job guys you finished a senior piece in an hour now Graylynn stay behind I need to talk to you" Abby says "bye gray" Brady says "bye Brades" i say and walk over to Abby "so you and Brady" she asks "um yea" i say "well I'm glad you're happy but I don't want you walking around with hickeys on your neck" Abby says and I went wide eyed I guess when I rubbed my neck earlier it wiped off "I don't mind you being close and stuff but remember you're like a daughter to me" Abby says "I'm sorry it won't happen again" i say and I hear the door open I turn and see Gianna "hey Graylynn Tricia is taking you home and you're going to stay over there tonight ok" she says "ok thank you" i say and it's time to head home.

The next day
We get to the studio and I'm sitting in the den waiting to dance and Brady sits next to me "hey Gray you ok" he asks "wait um yea I'm fine just tired" i say "did you get in trouble about you know" he asks "kind of she just said not to do it again" i say "I'm sorry" he says "no no it's not your fault" i say and we finish the rest of the day and we have done all of our dances and they are starting to look good.

It's the next day which means last rehearsal so we get in we get stretched and we are running through the group dance and we get to the aerial and Brady isn't getting it "is that his bad side he is a leftie we need to change that" Abby asks so we fix it and it looks a lot better and we are getting our costumes and Tricia comes down and is talking to Abby and we all get made to do 50 push ups and I'm not mad about it because it helps us and so we finish running through everything to make it perfect and we head home.

It's Competition day and we get on the bus and head there and I'm sitting next to Brady and we pull up to the competition and there's a lot of people outside like normal and we head to the dressing room and we get ready for our dances and the moms are fighting and we head backstage and Brady and I start doing our traditions like normal and Hannah and Lily are up first and they did good there were a few mistakes but that's ok. It's Pressley and Sarah next and they did really well. Next up is Brady and I and we head out on stage and I think we did amazing I felt so much of a connection with him and I feel like we really put our best out there and we get of stage and i jump and wrap my legs around his waist and we hug "Brades we did it" i say "yes gray we did see we can do a senior dance" he says and i get off of him and he holds my hand the other girls come up to us and said we did amazing and we head back to the dressing room.

We get into the dressing room and Abby comes into talk "Graylynn, Brady that was a senior level dance and you both drew me in I felt like I was living the story you both did outstanding are there things you both can work on absolutely but what you did today was great now let's get ready for the group" and we start getting ready and the moms start fighting about Brady and me about how we get things handed to us and we just start running through the dance and Abby sits her chair up and she's almost standing by her self and now it's time to head backstage and we get announced and Brady kisses my cheek and runs turns and the music starts and I'm the last one out and I get to Brady and he rips the tape off and we mail the tilt and he kisses me and I smile now because I can talk and we all start doing the big group work and Brady nails his turns and I feel like I did good but lily fell out of a side aerial and we get offstage and Brady and I hug and we head into the room backstage and we all talk about lilys aerial and she walks about and I just sit on the counter and Brady stands by me.

It's time to go on for awards so we walk on stage and sit down I'm next to Brady and Pressley and we all hold hands and we are getting duet awards Thrid place is We're Breathing which is Lily and Hannah Second place is Pressley and Sarah and so now we are waiting for first and so they get to first place and with a score of 299.89 points it's Lay Me Down Abby Lee Dance Company Brady and Graylynn and we go and get our award and it's exciting because we almost had a perfect score for the second time and it's time for group awards third is all that jazz second place is Amen and first place is The healer Abby Lee Dance Company and we head up to grab our award and we head back to the dressing room and Abby comes in talking about the group and lilys mess up and us kids get kicked out of the room

Bens POV:
"People thrive on people being upset and somebody else having their feelings hurt you all know that but the carrying on and the crying and the chaos when I hear all this crap going on that's when I have to rethink the casting and I don't know if everybody really belongs on this team" Abby says and so Stacey starts to argue with Tricia and saying that Gray and Brady have an advantage and the fighting just needs to stop "ok this fighting needs to stop ok yes some kids will get treated differently based on the way they apply corrections and how easy they are to work with and I would rather have Graylynn get yelled at a hundred times because it's teaching her to do something right and correct that way she doesn't have to get yelled at and yes Brady and Gray pick up corrections better and fix them so can we just stop fighting and let the jealously go because to function as a team we all have to get along and us arguing is putting stress on the kids" i say and walk out.
