IBTISAAM
Waking up to the sound of a ringing alarm is irritating.
I mumbled some incoherent words to myself before sitting up unwillingly, battling my eyelashes to wakefulness
"What time is it?" I asked no one in particular and took a peep of the time from my phone placed on the bedside drawer
"Oh Allah, 5:05! I'm late to prayer" i sighed because I love praying on time and I feel bad for not praying on time now.
I removed the blanket from my body welcoming the cool and chilly air before coming down from the bed and swiftly walked into the bathroom. Did my morning routines, pray, and recite some pages of Qur'an.
I prayed for my deceased father before drifting back to eesh la la land.

Knocking.....
I dislike been wake up by someone, especially when you're in land of sweet dreams, but this intruder had to disrupt it. I wanted to ignore it but the way the person was banging on the door ehn, I just had to open it argh
"Who is it?am coming" i groggily went to open the door only to see kausar with a wide grin like someone who just win a lottery
(p.s my cousin; a daughter to my father's elder brother )
"What!?" I snapped annoyed with her smile
"Ammi asked me to wake you up sleeping beauty"she said putting her lips into a pout
"I'm obviously awake. Kindly, take ur leave" i showed her the way outside.
I was about to slam the door when she popped her head in to add
"Meanie... come downstairs breakfast is ready and come down in less than 15 seconds" she commanded, air quoting the '15 seconds'
I ignored her to avoid our daily bickering and answered her with "coming" then slammed the door.
We might always bicker but trust me, the love we have for each other knew no bound.
I swiftly went into the bathroom and took the most relaxing bath ever lol. Coming out, I applied lotion to my body then went straight to my closet
"Uhhh what am I going to wear now"
I almost spent 20 minutes deciding on what to wear and lastly settled on a white kimono with blue jeans and white tanked top. I wrapped my veil in a hijabi style, put some khol and lipgloss, pick my phone and went downstairs.
I went straight to the dinning area and sat on the chair next to my Ammiey
"Sabahul khair ya Ammiey(good morning)" I gave her a bear hug
"Sabahul noor ya habeebty khaifa lailuki ya bint( morning dear,how was your night daughter?)"
"Laili bikhair Ammiey ( it was great)" I gave her a wide smile which displayed my set of white pearl teeth.
I ate my breakfast in a hurry not wanting to be late for lectures
"I can't sight kausar anywhere here,where is she?" I inquired her whereabout because the dinning area was unsually quite without that girl's shenanigans
" Don't Tell me u already miss ur fighting partner, kausar went to school earlier on"
Ohh that explains the silence. She could have wait for me since she knows I have lectures too.
"Ohk ammi I gotta go before that lecturer would chop my head for coming late" She laughed and replied with ohk.
I quickly went upstairs to take my bag and put all what I might need, laced my Snicker's rope and take my car keys.
I jogged down the stairs and met ammi there, sitting on the couch engrossed in watching BBC
"Ammiey am off to school, take care" I gave her a quick peck on her cheeks
"Ohk take care bye"
"bye".
I waved at her and went to the parking lot, hopped into my new Mercedez Benz and hit the road.

my phone buzzed. I bent down to take my phone and booom!! my car got crashed. ohh Allah, I guiltily raised my head to see my car got crashed into a BMW. Silently hoping that there is no any damage, i came down and the driver also came out and my gaze fell on a handsome devil, Ma sha Allah

Stupid subconscious
I crashed into someone's car and here i am, debating on wether the owner is handsome or not. Curse my stupid sense!
"Are you done checking me out "he said like it's the most obvious thing in the world pft
"Hey im ..... whatever"I waved my hand at him as a gesture of 'i don't care with whatever you think'
"If you don't know how to drive why not go and learn, did you not see how you caused damage to my car,are you blind? like can't you consult an optician" he yelled making me furrow my eyebrows

Oh malam,like he freaking called me blind and that too to my face!.I put my hands akimbo ready to give mr arrogant my piece of mind
"How dare you talk to me like that. And mister, watch your tongue, haven't you seen my car got damaged too. I know, I'm at fault and am about to apologise but what you just said made me take back my apology. Please, can't stay here any longer. when u get tired of glaring give me way to pass"
I waved at him and drove pass him to school, at least my mind is at peace I gave him my piece of mind
Thank God,It didn't cause much damage to the car...
