Tatsumi was already behind Madarame when Joker finished, and hit him right in the back, sending him forward to Ryuji who was lining up his shot.
Skull: Yeah, that's right. This should be an easy homerun!
Mona: Oh yeah?
The cat summoned his persona and cast a wind spell that made Madarame fly towards Ryuji, much faster than before.
Mona: How about now?
Skull: Tch! Stupid cat, just you watch I'll still send this old man out of the park!
Madarame tried to shoot out more ink at the duo but Yusuke came down just in time to freeze it with Goemon.
Fox: Don't think I'll let you do such heinous things to my comrades Madarame.
Madarame braced himself for impact as he continued flying toward Skull who was just now ready to swing but before he could.
Skull: Aghhhh!
Skull grabbed his chest, the same spot that Kamoshida had stabbed him earlier, even still, he managed to break through the pain and added some lightning to his bat for extra damage.

Madarame wailed in pain as he got sent flying into the entrance of the garden. Meanwhile Skull fell down to a knee, still gripping his stomach in pain.
Mona: Skull!
Tatsumi: Shit, he's pushed himself too far!
Madarame flew past Skull and was able to land back on his feet. He was still in a lot of pain but was still standing regardless. He wiped some of the blood off of his cheek before speaking.
Madarame: That was a nice hit you landed on me there... You also have a pretty nice tune there, very powerful and inspiring. Mind if I use it too?
Madarame's guitar started playing the same song, doubling his own power and within seconds he was already in front of Ryuji, his hands balled up with a big ball of that same energy.
Joker: 'Dammit! He's using our own plan against us.'
Joker tried to run up to save his friend, but he just wasn't fast enough. All he could do was try and warn Ryuji of what was in store for him.
Joker: Ryuji, get out of there!!!
The blonde-haired delinquent wasn't able to follow his leader's commands. Madarame was just too fast to be able to dodge, even with lighting, there was just no way. He gritted his teeth and braced for impact but it never came. Instead he felt a hand push him aside followed by an explosion of energy.
