Nightcrawler:

You stepped out of Xavier's office and was quickly ambushed by Kitty's hug. "Now your an X-Man!" She whisper shouted. You nodded with a smile as Kitty released you. "Come on," she said as she grabbed your hand and led you down one of the halls. "I want you to meet some people," Kitty had been the one to talk you into joining the group. You and her had been friends since you were little so there was no way you could've declined. Kitty led you down hall after hall, occasionally stopping to introduce you to another mutant before continuing to walk. The two of you were soon outside and Kitty took you to a large covered deck that stood next to a swimming pool. "(y/n) I want you to meet Rogue, Bobby, Peter, and Kurt," she gestured to each of the students as she said their names. The girl she had called Rogue stood up from her place in one of the chairs to come up to you. "Welcome to Mutant School, sugar cube," her southern accent was thick and laced her every word. The others approched you as well, each of them welcoming you. But nobody caught your attention like the blue skinned boy Kitty had introduced as Kurt. Once everyone had said hello Kitty grabbed your hand again and pulled you back inside the mansion to meet more mutants. A light blush still dusted your cheeks. And you had no idea why.

Quicksilver:

Your entire life you had been abused by humans. Even though you were a good mutant growing up everyone had seen you as a menace, even your own father. Now that you had turned 16 you decided it would be best if you left your home. Magneto had allowed you to be the first mutant to join his Brotherhood. And you became his second in charge. Mystique, Azazel, Sabertooth, and Emma Frost joined soon after.

-2 years later-

More mutants had joined the Brotherhood, including Magneto's son and daughter, Pietro and Wanda. You and Wanda had become friends quickly since you were the same age. And you had developed a crush on her older brother. But you feared falling in love because of past experiences. Would a mutant be better than human? You didn't want to take a chance. So you tried to hide your feelings for him. You never told Wanda any of this, scared she might tell him. So now more of your feelings were being surpressed. Just like many of the others from past years. 'I won't make the same mistakes,' you promised yourself. 'And I'll keep that promise. No matter what.'

Pyro:

You watched from the opposite of the room as your team mates talked. You had never been interested in other people, it didn't matter if they were human or mutant. They just never understood you. You turned your head away for a second and when you moved your eyes back to the group you noticed a blond boy staring at you. You tilted your head slightly and tossed him a confused look. He winked at you before turning his attention back to the group's conversation. You shook your head lightly; you couldn't believe you actually blushed! 'What's wrong with me?' You wondered as you brushed a few strands of your (h/l) (h/c) hair out of your face. "(y/n)!" Magneto sbouted from the other room. "Coming!" You yelled back before walking towards the door. You tossed one more look back at the boy, your eyes connected with his once more before you turned back to Magneto. 'You need to avoid him,' your mind insisted, 'no one understands you. Why would he be any differnet?' And so it was decided, you would treat him the same way you treated everyone else. Like he was nothing but a shadow.
