After going to Bad Monkey for breakfast, we go to the pool.

"Woah. Are you guys related?" A little boy asks the triplets.

"Sammy, don't interrupt their conversation." His mom says.

"No, it's fine. Yeah, we're triplets." Chris explains.

"Woah. So you guys were born on the same day?" He asks.

"Yep."

"I'm the oldest though." Nick says.

"But if you were both born on the same da-"

"He was the first one to be born. I was born 2 minutes later." Matt says.

"Oh, he's not really the oldest then."

"Exactly." Chris gives him a high five.

"Sammy, don't intrude." His mother says.

"But they're nice mommy." He frowns.

"Can he hang with us?" Chris asks.

"Oh, you don't have to do that."

"No, it's cool. We'll stay right around here so you can see us, but he's cool. We want to hang out with him." Matt smiles.

"Yeah, okay." She smiles. "I'm Lisa by the way."

"Nice to meet you." Nick smiles. "I'm Nick, that's Matt, that's Chris, and that's Jordan."

"Hi." I wave.

"Hi." She smiles.

"You guys know her?" Sammy asks.

They nod.

"She's really pretty, isn't she?" Chris nods.

I laugh. "Chris, you know hanging out with a child means you guys can't swear or make inappropriate jokes. That goes for you guys too."

"Jee, sorry mom." Chris turns back to Sammy.

The four of them get in the pool.

"Is it okay if I move over there?" Lisa asks.

"Of course." I smile.

She moves her bag over to the chair next to me and sits with me. "So, are you a girlfriend or sister or just a friend?"

"I'm a friend. I'm kind of like a sister though. I live next door to them. I met them in kindergarten and I've been like a little sister ever since." I say.

"How much younger are you?"

"Well they actually just turned 18 yesterday, this was kind of a birthday trip. But I turn 18 at the end of the month. We're doing a lot of trips this summer because if I get accepted into the school I want, I'm moving to Salisbury, Maryland. We originally live in Boston."

"Oh fun. Why do you want to go there?"

"I want to be a cosmetologist."

"Ooo, doing hair. That sounds fun."

"Yeah, I've wanted to do it since I was in elementary school."

We talk for a while until Lisa and Sammy have to leave.

"Bye Jordan, it was nice talking to you." Lisa waves.

"Bye!" I wave. "She was nice."

"What did you guys talk about?" Chris asks.

"Stuff. How I know you guys, why we're here, stuff like that."

"Did you talk about me?" He smirks.

"We're kind of complicated, so no. I just told her I'm a friend but I'm like a sister."

"Dear god, don't be my sister." He chuckles.

I laugh. "Shut up."

"So, about the whole complicated thing..." He puts his arm around me. "I was thinking. You wanna be my girlfriend?"

"Are you gonna take me on dates?" I ask.

"Yeah."

"Then sure." I smile.

He kisses me, but quickly so that Nick and Matt don't see.

"We probably should wait to tell them." I say.

"Yeah." He nods.

-

"I got in!" I cheer. "I got in!"

"You did?" Chris asks.

"I did! I got in to Salisbury University!" I cheer.

"Yes! I'm so proud of you!" He hugs me and spins me around.

I give him a subtle kiss on the cheek.

"I have to gather all my stuff so I can move in before the year starts." I say, running upstairs.

-end of summer-

"I'm gonna miss you guys." I pout.

"We'll be a phone call away if you need us." Matt says.

"And a 7 hour drive." I say.

"Don't look at the negatives. We can FaceTime any time you want." Nick says.

"What if I need boy advice?"

"Sweetie you're the single hottie in college, I'm gonna be the one asking you for advice." Nick says.
