"Come on lemme get y'all out of here" he placed kai in her seat and got inside the car and drove us to his place, we walked straight into the house and got settled in.
First thing I did was get into the shower to wash this bullshit ass day off, after I was done I got myself together and threw on one of his shirts and sat on the bed to finish my homework.
"Aye lemme talk to you real quick" Dave walked in with food in his hand and drinks, I pushed my laptop aside and sat up. He sat the food on the dresser
"Is this a serious conversation?" I sat up and crossed my legs while he sat in front of me, he looked me in my eyes which made me nervous
"what!" I looked down and started playing with my nails which caused him to grab my hand
"Ion really know how to ask this " he laughed a bit then reached into his pocket pulling out a box as my eyes got wide.
"before you flip out ma it's not a proposal, I brought this when you were mad at me I've been trynna plan this shit for a while, this is a promise ring, honestly I ain't never felt the way I do about you about anybody before, you are everything I want and need you treat my daughter like she's yours and I appreciate that shit so much. I'm not perfect I know I be fucking up but you too real and too perfect for me not to have you. So Ariana tell me you'll be my girl?" He smiled and opened the box revealing a big ass ring. I gasped and stared at the ring
" y-you w-what ?" He laughed and placed the ring on my finger as my hand was shaking

"I was gonna plan something nice but I wanted to do it before you changed your mind about forgiving me. shit Bree and Laila been down my neck about how I'm gonna ask you. So please tell me you'll be my girlfriend " he smiles and I sat there with my mouth open
"come on baby don't leave a nigga hanging " he chuckled and I finally snapped out of it and started smiling really hard
"You for real ? " He smiled and nodded

"This is so sweet, you seriously better not fuck this up!" I sat up and wrapped my arms around him and giggled as he kissed my lips
"I won't and I cant. I made an agreement with Bree that if I do she's allowed to shoot me" I laughed and he smiled. I love his smile.
"Come here "I pull his arm and he lays on top of me with his head in my boobs
"thank you for this" I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair, he placed a kiss on my neck then sat up
" I got you one more thing" he said and I raised my eyebrows
