you were panting, running through the woods, you could hear the footsteps and the barking of dogs from the distance, they were looking for you
you ran as far as your little feet could
park sunhwa stood with a teddy bear in her hands as men were beating one of the children
"gosh, how many times do i have to tell you? shoot the head" she tsked "use your brain for once"
she walked out the room as sounds of grunting and weapons hitting the body were heard through the building
the blood was drying on your head as you ran, the forest was dark and you couldn't see, but that didn't stop you
lee byeong chan pushed a little boy infront of him as he reached the car with sunhwa inside
she rolled down the window and looked at the little boy
"look at you...dumb boy, why bother going after her? go clean yourself up" the boy didn't move from his spot
"are you deaf?" byeongchan said "don't be a pest, screw off" the boy just stared at him
"take him" he gestured to the men behind him
"the girl?" she asked, byeongchan stayed silent "you lost her then? have you always worked this poorly?
"you know these kids aren't normal"
"indeed, they are on a different level compared to you people" she smirked "keep looking for her, but report to HQ she's been taken care of"
"she won't last long anyway, you know that, don't you? she's quite different from you, mr lee, she'll die on the run"
"shouldn't that be a problem? that her kind is in the wild?"
"no worries, she's only eight, after all, okay, thats enough, im starving, goodbye" she drove off without another word
meanwhile a old farmer was feeding his cows outside when he noticed something on the ground, he walked up to it slowly to reveal a bloodied girl, passed out
he shouted for his wife to help from inside the house
after calling a ambulance, they checked her inside the house
"her wounds aren't bad, she'll recover quick, she is fine, other than not knowing who she is, she said she didn't know her name or age" the man nodded
"what will you do with her once she recovers?" the nurse asked
the man and woman looked at each other, both with the same thoughts
"well..."
ten years later
"come on, sir, its not like we're strangers! our babies have been starving for two days now" you begged to the worker
"you know things are bad these days, i get what you're going through but..." "but you won't help?, you and my dad go way back!"
"of course we do, ive known him for years"
