The Party

It was Friday night, June, the middle of party season. I hopped out of my jeep grand Cherokee but not before I grabbed my Nikon Camera. I walked up the massive house I had no idea existed up until a month ago, apparently this where all the 'big' parties are always being held.

And it was true; every weekend I came here to take recordings or pictures of the place, something is always going on somewhere on the property. I walked up to the steps after leaning up against the door of my car and taking a few pics of people and watching them go into the house, I knocked on the wooden door. I knew no one would answer or be able to hear me for that matter considering the music was jamming throughout the entire house, but I always thought it was courteous to try. After waiting a few seconds and the door never opening once I finally opened the door to see at least twenty people in the hallway, half of them making-out with each other and the other half talking over the loudspeakers holding beer bottles in the hands.

I quickly turned my camera on and got a few shots of some of the people, they didn't even notice me taking their picture, but I'm used to that, I don't really socialize at things like this, I actually just stay in the background and take pictures of things that might be good for my collage due at the end of the summer.

As I walked around more I saw guy and girls playing beer-pong, and guys doing shots off of girls and vice versa, I was never into alcohol so I never tried it even though I a at the drinking age. I would have gotten a few pictures of that but I had already gotten shots of those a few weeks ago. I walked outside to the pool area to see guys dancing and putting their arms around girl's waist, oh how I wish that could be sometimes, but then I think, 'What could possibly come out of that situation?' A one-night stand with someone you barely know? Or possibly getting an STD from it or even getting pregnant by the guy who would even give you a second look if you tried talking to him.

I shook my thoughts away from that that was most definitely not something I wanted to find out more about. I quickly got my pictures from the small dance floor and went by the pool; people were kissing, swimming and practically humping one another in the pool, which I found one of the things quite revolting. I again got my pics and got out of there, heading back inside to the house.

I saw people were now playing spin the bottle, classic make-out game, I'd never played but I had Googled it numerous times, and found it to be a real laughing stock. I stuck around for about five minutes to get more good photos and what I got did not surprise me, girl kissing girl, boy kissing girl and at least two bottles of Jack Daniels were being passed around. I think the only thing I didn't get a picture of was boy-kissing boy.

I was in the middle of getting my shots when someone bumped into the back of me, I turned around to see it was a group of frat boys, probably the ones who planned this party, "Watch it, would you?" I muttered to them, I was surprised when one of them turned around and caught a glimpse of me.

"'Cuse me?" He asked, coming back up to me. He had a slight southern accent that fitted him well.

I will admit I was a little intimidated by how tall he was reaching almost 6'0 ft. he was a giant compared to me. He had shaggy brown hair that made him look like Harry Styles from One Direction but straighter than his, as well as a blue striped Polo shirt and blue Khakis on.

"I said watch it, as in watch where you're going." I snapped at him, I knew better than to mess with drunken frat boys, but sometimes I just really wanted to put them in their place, and I guessed that was happening tonight.

He came up next me, putting his chest next to mine, well tried to anyways, my camera was in the middle of us, "Why don't you watch where you're going." He said in a menacing tone, I could barely hear him over the loud music but I could definitely read his lips, courtesy of having a deaf sister, you learn very quickly on reading lips.
