Close Call...

Y/n's POV:

It was the next morning and
woke up to a train passing by, turns out
it had woken up the boys too.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes, slowly waking up.
I looked around to see that Gordie was already awake before us and he was fixing his
sleeping bag.
" Hey, Y/n. "
Gordie smiled at me.
" Hey. "
I smiled back seeing that everyone else started slowly waking up,
" Morning. "
It was Teddy who spoke.
"Morning to you. "
I smiled.

Everything started flushing back..
I kissed Teddy last night.. !
Oh God!

I was zoned out when Chris spoke,
" Get a room.. "
He scoffed while he stood up and
fixed his sleeping bag.
" What? All we said was good morning
to each other? "
I chuckled turning my direction to him.
" Yeahh! "
Teddy joined in.
" Yeah whatever..
Chris chuckled as he continued to roll
his sleeping bag.
" So, where we headed to next? "
Chris asked Gordie while he sat back down.
" Really? We just woke up and now your thinking of where we're heading to next? "
I groaned as I laid back down.
" Uhh Yeah!? "
Chris responded with his voice all high pitched.
" Guess we know who isn't a morning person. "
Teddy laughed making me
roll my eyes.
" C'mon guys? I just woke up..? "
" You know, Y/n... If you don't wanna come with us, you are welcome to stay here? We don't mind?
Right, boys?? "
My cousin joked while he helped Vern fix up
his sleeping bag.
Hearing a bunch of " yeah's " from them.
" Shut up! "
I scoffed turning away from them, covering myself in my blanket.
" Looks like we're gonna have to do this the
hard way. "
Teddy said hearing them laugh.

What are they up to??
Whatever it is, I'm in deep shit..

" Sleeper Hold!! "
I heard Vern suddenly yell.
You have got to be kidding me..
They all got on top of me and piled over me.
" C'mon guys! I just woke up! "
I shouted trying to push them off.
Gordie: " Y/n!!! "
Chris: " Get up, Olsen!
Vern: " Come on, Y/n! "
Teddy: " Time to get up!! "  
Y/n: " Get off!! "
They all shouted, and laughing as I continued to pry them off but it was no use,
so I eventually had to get up.
" Fine! I'll get up! You guys need to get off first! "
I scowled hearing them laugh as they
got off me.
" I can breathe! "
I yelled dramatically making them laugh.
" Okay, actually though, we should get going... "
Gordie spoke up as he picked up
his bag, and so did the rest of us..
Time to walk again...
I fixed up my sleeping bag and
we all got on the tracks,
with Chris and Gordie taking the lead and Teddy, Vern and I behind them.
After walking for a few minutes,
My stomach was rumbling...

" Hey guys, I'm kinda hungry? "
I spoke up leading us to stop walking...
" Yeah me too. "
Vern added.
" Well what are we gonna eat? "
Teddy asked us.
" I don't know? "
I shrugged my shoulders.
" There are some berries in some of the trees, maybe we could get some? "
Chris suggested as he started to look around
the forest.
They eventually found a bunch and we started munching on them while we walked..
The song Hushabye by The Mystics played on the radio when we got out the forest.
I had a hand full of berries and ate them neatly,
unlike these douches...
They had some smothered on their mouths and their shirts which was used a basket for the berries.
Especially Vern's face!!
I chuckled at the thought.

" Jeez, Gordie, how come you didn't get some breakfast stuff like uhh.
Twinkies, and Pez, and root beer. "
Vern spoke up out
of the blu.
" Sorry, Vern. I guess a more experienced shopper could've gotten more for your 7 cents. "
My cousin replied as he licked the his fingers
making me chuckle.
" Hey Gordie, how much farther do we have
to walk? "
I asked as I got in between Teddy
and Vern.
" Would you please stop asking? We'll get there when we get there. "
Teddy laughed as he ate some berries
" All right! I'm just tired, that's all.. "
I sighed as I plopped a berry in my mouth.
" You're always tired. "
He added.
I mocked his words rolling my eyes,
making them laugh.
