"You're beautiful." She whispered.
The wolves stalk their way towards the agreed upon meeting place. "Winds are changing. Looks like we won't have to endure their stench." Sam said noticing how the tree top began to sway in the direction they were jogging.
"Oh great, I was trying to think of creative things to call them, but all I kept thinking of was skunk." Quil said making Jared and Embry snicker.
"Take this seriously. Remember, you aren't indestructible you can still die." Sam said, his mind began to push images of Thalia and her brother, not really meaning to.
Paul growled and broke off from the pack a little. Thought of Thalia flashed threw his mind, though the pack only felt the hurt that echoed off of him.
Seth looked over to Jacob who was already staring back at him. Thoughts of Paul running off and disappearing filled the packs mind again.
"I can smell them." Leah said, seeing as she was the closest one.
"Let me go first." Sam said picking up his pace.
"Here we go." Embry said as he looked back at Paul who was still growling.
The wolves made their way into the tree line, mist still floating around the damp ground. The pack, like the Cullen's, we're weary and on edge.
While Paul walked threw the trees, his eyes instantly gravitated towards the biggest of the vampires. Locking eyes with him, a low growl rung out of chest.
Thoughts of him jumping over to their side.
Thoughts of the red head getting away.
Thoughts of how if Emmett hadn't done that, they would have killed the red head.
Thoughts of how, maybe, just maybe, Thalia would have stayed a bit longer.
His paws dug into the ground, itching for a rematch against the large blood sucker.
Edward, having read his mind, noted the main threat to them was gone. "They're young. Very young" he said counting them in his head. "They don't trust us enough to be in human form."
"They came, that all that matters." The doctor said.
The wolves looked back from each other, Sam began to speak in their Native tongue. "We listen and watch. Nothing else." Sam spoke almost as an order, his eyes bee lining towards Paul.
"Does this mean we need to study more on our luggage?" Jared asked looking at him.
Leah rolled her eyes. "Language you idiot not luggage. You're pronouncing it wrong."
"Just look and listen." Sam have out an exasperated sigh. "I want eyes on all of them at once." He stepped forward seeing at the head of house stepped towards his pack.
