This chapter will include domestic violence.
Marie was charged (and later dropped) with felony domestic violence against her boyfriend, a man who is left unidentified.
She went through the system where the charges were eventually dropped by the fact that her medicine she had been taking had serious side effects.
She was accused of striking the victim multiple times in the head, neck and arm, resulting in minor injuries.
This, even though the charges were dropped, is not something to be felt with lightly. The pure fact that she was not charged with aggravated assault pushes my buttons in a way only abuse situations can.
