A group of teenagers; Jessica, Amanda, Sean, Holly, Maria, Darrel, Daniel, Britanny, Burke, Jackson, Molly, Lauren, Paul, and Darrick; are at Jessica's house and they decide to go somewhere for a fun joke.

Jessica looked over at Burke who was raiding the fridge, "What the hell are you doing?" Jessica asked Him. "What's it look like? I'm fucking raiding your Fridge." He replied. They all laughed, except Jessica whose parents disapproved of her friends coming over.
"I'm bored!" Lauren said plopping herself down in the chair. "Well.." Jackson started, "I do know somewhere we could go?" Jessica looked at him with a shocked look. "Oh no. no, no, no. don't even say it. We are not going. Nope. Not risking it." she said hitting him in the arm. "Oh come on Jessica it can't be that bad." He replied. "What are y'all blabbing about?" Amanda said coming from upstairs. "Jessica's being a scaredy-cat about some place," Burke replied. "Oh come on man. Jackson, what's this place you're talking about?" Amanda said sitting down next to him.
"It's an old abandoned hotel. But it's a weird one. It looks like a small one-story shop but the floors are built underground and there are about 5 floors and there are only stairs." He said. "Yea it's an abandoned hotel that we are not going to." Jess snapped.
"Well, I'm In." Amanda Replied.
"Me too." Burke, Molly, Lauren, and Paul said at the same time.
"Ig the rest of us are too," Britanny said.
"Are y'all out of your mind!? We are NOT going to a HAUNTED ABANDONED hotel in the middle of NOWHERE." Jessica yelled at them. "Aw come on babe," Paul said grabbing Jessica's waist. "Will you go for me?"
Jessica looked at him like he was crazy. But then, she just sighed and closed her eyes. "Fine..." she said, "I'll go but don't pull any stupid shit."

They piled into cars; Paul, Jess, Jackson, and Amanda into Paul's car. Sean, Holly, Britanny, Lauren, and Burke into Sean's Car. And finally Daniel, Maria, Darrick, Darrel, and Molly into Daniel's Car. Paul started driving taking the lead for the others to follow.

1 Hour later
"There!" Jackson yelled, "That's it right there!" Amanda looked at it. "It doesn't look like a hotel..?" she said looking back at him like he was on some sort of drug. Paul pulled into a parking space and stopped the car. Everyone piled out of the cars and just stared up at the sign that was missing almost all its letters. "1876. dang, this building is old as hell.." Molly said turning to face the front doors. "Come on let's go in," Daniel said getting impatient. They slowly one by one entered the hotel; Maria, Darrick, Burke, Molly, Darrel, Britanny, daniel, Holly, Sean, Lauren, Paul, Jessica, Then Jackson.
"It's so dark in here," Holly said almost walking into a wall. "Well no shit there's no power," Daniel said to her. "Use your phones flash light" Darrel said to break up the commotion. Everyone got their flashlights out and began to look around. "Oh sick the stairs," Sean said and he started down them. Everyone else just followed, passing door upon the door of hotel rooms. Only 4 storied down it felt like they had walked down 8 flights of stairs and eventually they found their way to the very bottom. At the lowest level was a singular door. "We walked all the way down here for this?" Maria yelled. "Let's just head back up." But suddenly the door opened to a dark room. They slowly piled into the room. and then the door slammed shut.
Then the lights cut on. "Haha, funny guys now come on let's get out of here," Maria said. Suddenly the telephone on the table rang. Everyone just stood staring at it, the line was cut. "Well, Jackson it was your idea to come here. Answer it." Jess said pushing him towards it. "Fine," he said picking up the phone. He heard an unfamiliar deep voice on the other end.
"May the games begin." the voice said before the receiver gave out.
