Josie knew she could have tried harder but she didn't and for hat she will never forgive herself.

The door bell rings.

"I'm coming!" Josie says as she limped over to the door

She got hit pretty hard.

She opens the door to reveal Hope.

"Were you following me?" Josie asked hope as she crossed her arms

Hope just let herself in... it was easy for her seeing as she was a vampire.. she shouldn't be allowed in there.. something changed.

"You can't just invite yourself in." Josie rolled her eyes before closing the door.

"Where is she?" Hope asked

"What?" Josie asked

"Where's my daughter."

"She's our daughter Hope." Josie corrects

"And I wonder why I knew nothing about our daughter for so long." Hope says

Josie looks down at her fingers

"I had to protect her" Josie says

"From what? Me?" Hope asked

"From heartbreak.. I don't want her to have to depend on someone who's gonna keep running in and out of their lives." Josie spits out

"What—I would never! I would never do something like that to my own blood.. when did she enter that school?" Hope asked

"Out of all questions that's the question you ask?" Josie scoffs

"I need to know if our daughter has came into access with the weaponed that Landon first stole when he came here.. the knife.. I need to know" Hope pleads

"She just joined about 2 weeks ago Hope.. what does that have to do with you?" Josie asked

"Because that would mean her power has just been stored." Hope says

Hope didn't know much about being a tribrid herself but she did know the feeling of having all the magic inside you.

"She's only a witch.. where would she get magic from?" Josie asked as she walked over to sit on the couch.

"She's just like me.. she can have magic just running through her blood." Hope says

"And that's why she's so tired?" Josie asked

"Maybe... I have to call my aunt freya and we have to see how to help our little girl." Hope says before she made her way to the door

"And what would that mean?" Josie asked

Hope stopped and turned around.

"What do you mean?" Hope asked

"When she's all better and isn't suffering from whatever this new thing is then where does that leave you? Going back to New Orleans with your girlfriend" Josie bites

"I'm not going anywhere.. I can't leave the people that matter most to me." Hope assured

"You don't even know Olivia... and you did it before.. how am I suppose to believe that?" Josie asked

"That's rich.. who fault is it in why I don't know Liv?" Hope asked

"It's mine and I blame myself... but Hope you know now and if you don't stay like you said you would then that's on you for not being in her life... and I have you know.. I tried telling you many times." Josie cried out

"Telling me? When... name one time?" Hope asked

"I sent you letters and post cards and birthday invites... I guess you just never got them." Josie says

"That's a lie... I live in the same place since I was a baby I didn't change my address so that's a lie." Hope scoffed

"I don't have to prove a damn thing to you hope... I know what I did and what I didn't do." Josie rolled her eyes

"Listen.. I would love to move on with my life and go back to New Orleans with Janice but seeing as I just found out about our daughter.. I'm willing to give up everything." Hope assured

"Whatever... just go get freya so we can talk about this whole thing and what's best for Liv." Josie sighed

"Mommy?" Liv walked down the stairs.

"I told you to wait upstairs Liv." Josie says

"I know mommy but I'm not tired anymore.. the magic went away." Liv says happily.

"Hi hope!" Liv runs over and hugs hope.

"Hello sweetheart" Hope hugs back

Josie couldn't help but to feel guilty.

"I'm going to go." Hope says as Liv pulled away.

"What? No.. you just got here!" Liv complains

"I'll be back princess" Hope says

"You pwomise?" Liv asked as she swung her arms back and forth.

"I pinky promise." Hope smiled

"That's boring... c—can w—we make our own pwomise" Liv asked

"Uhh—" Hope looked up at Josie and Josie had a lost of words. "Sure" Hope says looking back at Liv.

"Okay... how about...family pwomise? For me, mommy and you... since we all are going to be family." Liv smiled so bright

Josie felt sick and guilty... she wish she would have told Hope.
