"Locky? C'mon, it's time to get up!" John nudged at his tired little boy, waking him up from his deep sleep.

"But Daddy!" exclaimed Locky, having been disturbed from his precious sleep.

"No 'buts' mister! You've got to be on your best behaviour today, we're going to Uncle Mycroft's to see Little Greg!"

Sherlock let out a little moan, he hated visiting Uncle Mycroft, but his Daddy insisted on it.

-----------------------------

"Sherlock Holmes! Get downstairs now, or you're not getting any dessert with dinner."

Heavy footsteps stumbled down the stairs; Locky really wanted dessert, although he really didn't want to see Uncle Mycroft.

Daddy John helped put Locky's coat on, and hushed him out of the door quickly.

-----------------------------

John rang the doorbell, rubbing his hands together to keep warm in the freezing, typical English, weather.

Surprisingly, little Greg was at the door, grinning wide.

Locky gripped onto Daddy's hand, sometimes Greg could be a little intimidating.

"Ah, hello Greg! Where's your Daddy?" asked John.

Footsteps were heard coming down, as Mycroft came to the door now.

"GREGORY! Ah, visitors! Um, hello! Come in, come in!" Mycroft exclaimed, shutting the door.

"Gregory, what did I tell you about opening the door by yourself?" he muttered, just loud enough for little Greg to hear.

"Sorry Daddy, I forgot," Greg looked down at his shoes.

"Hmm," said Mycroft, disapprovingly. "Why don't you go and play with Locky while myself and Uncle John have a nice chat?"

"Mhmmm Daddy!" Greg exclaimed as he grabbed the now shy Locky to go and play with him.

Gregory dragged little Sherlock into the playroom, Locky now looking back to his Daddy, who gave him an encouraging smile.

Sherlock didn't speak much in front of people. Instead, he listened to Gregory babbling on about what he got for Christmas.

"Daddy gave me a toy helicopter! And it's got a remote control!"

Locky smiled nervously, as Greg continued.

"But Daddy told me that I can only play if he's watching because he doesn't want it to break!"

Locky smiled shyly again, really just wanting his Daddy.

"Shall we play tag?" Gregory asked little Sherlock, guessing that he was a little bored of listening to him brag about his toys.

Locky hesitated, then nodded.

Greg grabbed hold of Sherlock, taking him along into the garden to play.

"You're it!"Gregory giggled loudly.

Sherlock had warmed up to Greg now, fully involving himself in the game.

Giggling, Locky ran to catch Greg, pushing him over in doing so. Sherlock paused in his tracks, staring wide-eyed.

Gregory had grazed his knee, his face evidently holding back tears.

Uh-oh. Sherlock knew he was going to be in big trouble if Greg burst out crying now. Daddy would most definitely give him a spanking.

And he'd probably not get any dessert.

This was when Greg burst out sobbing, the loudest thing Sherlock had probably ever heard.

Obviously, Mycroft came running outside to the sound of Gregory's wailing, followed shortly after by John.

"Gregory! What on earth has happened?"
