𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐗𝐓𝐇 𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐑, 𝙿𝚁𝙴𝚃𝚃𝚈 𝙻𝙸𝚃𝚃𝙻𝙴 𝙻𝙸𝙰𝚁𝚂

𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 1 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 8

The girls sat in Spencer's living room as Aria and Spencer came with a big box. "I was afraid she wouldn't get it done in time for the momerial" Aria said

"This was someone from your mom's gallery?" Hannah asked. "Right" Aria replied

"Where's your mom?" Emily asked her. "There's an apartment from above the gallery. So she's staying there. For now" Aria said. "I'm sorry for you" Bella told her. Aria smiled "Thanks Bella. But at least me and Mike don't need to hear them fighting anymore"

"Kind of weird, isn't it? Your mom moving out" Hannah said. "Yeah, like my dad should have left. That's what you'd expect" Aria said. "Aria" Spencer said. "Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. The whole thing just sucks" Aria apologized

"I know. It's okay" Hannah said. "Did anyone call Shelly Leonard?" Emily asked. "Done. I told her that if she plays anything depressing, I will kick in her cello" Spencer said and Emily chuckled

"Oh, what about the program?" Aria asked. "Almost done" Spencer said

"We should finish it before Ali's brother get here" Bella said. "When is that?" Aria asked. "Tonight. He wants to see us in the morning" Spencer said

"God, you know what? I barely remember Jason" Hannah admitted. "We didn't know him. He was just Ali's older brother down the hall" Aria said

"Yeah, just like we didn't know Spencer's brother" Hannah said. "Okay, Okay but now you know him" Spencer said and the girls chuckled

They opened the box and looked in it shocked. "Wow" Hannah said. "It's beautiful" Aria said. "Pedestal's already out there, next to the bench. This goes up friday morning" Spencer said. "Do you think Jason will like it?" Emily asked. "Of course he'll like it" Bella said

"You know, years from now, people are gonna see this memorial and that's all they'll ever know about Ali," Aria said. "She'll be the girl that they dedicated the bench on. And we'll all be gone but Ali will still be remembered"

"It's Immortality, my darlings" Spencer said, because Alison told them once. "Where did she get that from, a movie?" Aria asked. "Ali was a movie" Spencer said

Spencer, Bella, Aria and Emily sat in Spencer's kitchen. With Jason

They waited on Hannah. "You've done a great job. Really. Mom and Dad and I are really grateful" Jason praised them. Hannah came trough the door. "There she is" Jason said. "Jason. Uh.. Hey. Sorry I'm late" she said and hugged him. "No problem. I was saying you've done some lovely work in the memorial. I might've done one or two things differently. We can adjust that along the way," Jason said

"Here's a copy of the program for the dedication" he said. "Oh, I emailed you the program that we worked up" Spencer said. "Right. I saw the draft. This just fine-tunes it. Let's see. If Shelly Leonard's gonna play something I don't think we can give her more than three minutes. I remember she's somewhat of a snowball with that cello. Then, uh.. Oh. Is this the picture for the program?" Jason held up a picture of Alison. "Yes. It's everybody's favorite" Emily said

Jason nodded. "It's the one I would have picked. I thought I was gonna be able to get my whole family out here but you know in the last minute, my mum, um.. It's crazy talking about this, isn't it?" Jason asked and the girls nodded, They didn't know what to say

"When I think about her, I think about you. The six of you in her bedroom, laughing, keeping secrets. Long time ago. I want each of you to speak. I'd rather hear from you than Miss Slocomb from the PTA" he said

"The PTA was a lot of help" Spencer said. "What about the rain?" Jason asked, ignoring Spencer. "The rain?" Spencer asked. "Forty percent chance before the weekend" he said
