Chapter 8 Earth Soldiers on the Ground Part 3

Jaune: Delirious, let's frag 'em.

H2O Delirious nodded to him. The duos pull out their grenades from their pouch, pull the pin, and cook it.

Jaune: Grenade!!!

H2O Delirious: Grenade!!!

They throw the grenades at the horde in the right position and as it lands down to the horde, the grenade exploded and annihilated all the remaining Grimm. Some flew and others exploded to pieces. Even the explosion causes the Militia to get jumped and surprised by it as they got spooked by the explosion sound. 

The grenades cause a big smoke and they can't see if the Grimm is dead. Jaune and H2O Delirious bring their guns up as they are ready. The Militia readies their weapons as they are looking around if the remaining Grimm is alive. Soon the smoke is clearing and they see dead Grimm that are exploded to bits and it was turning to ash.

Jaune and H2O Delirious lower their guns as they confirmed that the last Grimm are killed by the grenades. 

Jaune: Alright, all clear! Let's move!!

The duos run forward first and the Militia follows them behind, as they arrive at the mayor's building, Jaune and H2O Delirious see Jared walking towards them while Cartoonz and Ohmwrecker stayed as they are still scanning the area. 

Jared: (holsters his M1911 and talks to Jaune.) Good to see that you guys made it in time. What took you so long?

Jaune: Sorry that we're late sir, we got traffic along the way.

H2O Delirious: And by traffic, we got BIG traffic.

Cartoonz: Grimm?

The Captain: A lot of them. The village is gone.

Ohmwrecker: He's right. This place is a total loss, sir.

Jared: I know, that's why we're getting any villagers that are still alive out of here. Come on, let's get these people out of here.

Jaune: (to the Captain and the Militia) You guys stay here and keep your eyes out. We'll get the villagers out.

The Captian and the Militia nodded to Jaune. Jaune and H2O Delirious now follow Jared as they rush towards the mayor's house as they are going to get the villagers evacuated. Inside the mayor's house, a female wolf faunus was trying to find the soldiers from the widow. As she is still looking around for them, she saw Jared coming toward her.

Jared: It's clear now!

She nodded to him and she tells everyone its clear now. The Captian and the Militia were on guard as they are keeping their eyes out for more Grimm. The front door of the mayor's house was opened and a bunch of villagers are coming out. There are some villagers that are injured by the Grimm but they are being helped by other villagers. 

Jaune and H2O Delirious are on guard while Jared, Ohmwrecker, and Cartoonz are getting all the villagers and children out, they have counted 23 villagers. As all of them are out, the last people are 2 villagers holding on a stretcher as they are carrying their heavily injured mayor. Jaune notices and he checks the mayor, it was a female tiger faunus.

Jaune: Is she the mayor?

Jared: Yep. Cartoonz and I found her on the streets. She was heavily injured like this.

Cartoonz: We took her into the house and the villagers treated her with everything they got, but she is still in bad condition.

The 2 villagers continue walking as they are carrying the injured mayor. As all of the villagers are outside and staying near the Militia, Ohmwrecker and Cartoonz walk inside as they are checking if any Villagers are still inside. They are making sure that no one is left behind. Jared, H2O Delirious, and Jared then walk toward the villagers and check everyone.
