When Elizabeth meets her soulmate mortal or not they will stop ageing and become immortal but if they were to die before Elizabeth got her powers of necromancy and other powers back her soulmate would be locked up behind an enchanted door in a place in hell where only Elizabeth could reach. They will not be released until she gets her powers and powers she should have gained over the several years.
