Slightly shimmering in the edge of the horizon, I see it, the famous Silver Spire of The City Of Order.

"Never have I imagined, that I would visit this place once more. Well I am merely passing by and not invading it, that would be suicide!" I cackled.

"So uh... Why are we trying to find a lich again?" Racadia asked.

"To find a lich or better yet an Arch-Lich!"

"I see but why are we doing this? Couldn't you just asked the slabs to leave the bodies alone after making them take the form of the host's old self?"

"Good question my servant, the reason is simple, Solasthemia is an undead that fuses with the host's body, thus because of this, the host's are technically partly undead. So even if Solasthemia leave the host, the consciousness or moreso, the soul would be carried out also,"

"You're telling me that it fuses with your soul!?"

"I have done some tests before which proved so. However! there are cases where if the body possess a certain amount of mana, Solasthemia would inflate the brain which leads to a pop!"

"You are one sick bastard, why're you doing all of this?"

"The justice of vengeance! But to you it may as well be petty reve-"

A cluster of giant rocks rips through our carriage tent from the right side, appearing out of nowhere. My arm and the carriage were crushed to smithereens. The glass tools and ingredients were also destroyed by the sudden assault.

Fortunately however, I was sent flying away from the carriage.

Green flames lit up throughout my skull and ribs as I witnessed the rest of the carriage behind mine were assaulted as well, leaving nothing more but puddles of rotten blood, dying the grass around it red.

I feel disorientation and frustration cloud my mind. I force my skeletal body to stand up to at least try to see who attacked us.

I walk past the puddles of blood and shattered glass and using the flames present within my skull, I zoomed in on what attacked us only to see an army led by 3 figures.

All 3 of them wore armor far shinier than mythril.

"Ah... I've read about them, the new summoned Heroes was it?"

I read about them from the noble of Galan's reports, there were 9 of them I believe.

"Well I suppose them hunting me was expected, but how did they know that it was I who caused the plague moreso my location,"

I suppose there may have been high ranking scout adventurers scouting around, or perhaps...

"Could the thief have spread word of my actions?"

I stop dawdling and look around for my satchel. I run past the butchered corpses of the rabbits and see roberto limping in the distance holding my satchel on his mouth.

"Splendid work Roberto!" I praised.

I grab my satchel from him and rustle my hand inside trying to find a specific syringe.

"Come now! Where is it?" I said frantically.

Just then, memories came flashing back into my skull, I left it on my right pocket.

I pull the syringe, and saw that its colour has changed. Before it was a brimming red colour but now it's darker and there were little white debris swimming inside of it.

With no time to even Identify the changes in the serum, I look at Roberto with little flames left in my eyes.

With Williams nowhere to be seen and the rabbits having bodies too small for the serum to take effect... Roberto is the only one I can this serum into right now.

Roberto looked at me his usual dead eyes at I can sort of feel a tinge of sadness... Well, also a bit of anger too because he was turned into an undead.

Hopefully he won't turn insane because of this.

"Roberto my dear companion, I do hope we meet again one day," I said as I stab the needle into his abdomen.

After doing so, I run as far and as fast as possible. The forest is within reach so it's my best means of escape.

Far back in the distance I can hear the distorted squeaks of a rabbit. The squeaks soon turn into a growls followed by the sound of snapping bones. The syringe was filled with the same serum that created the abomination. I altered the serum quite a bit to make sure the same won't happen again but I have yet to test it out of fear that the same scenario would happen again.

I pluck my skull of my neck and look at the scene unfolding behind me.

Roberto has grown 5 times its size, limbs grew all over his body and large blood red pores all over his skim secretes a disgusting white mucus with the same colour as the ones found in pimples.

His whole body no longer resembled that of a rabbit, now it was nothing more than a giant blob of flesh and bones that would strike fear and disgust into the eyes of pure.

Hopefully once things have died down I would be able to find remnants of Williams and the others, hopefully that time comes.

The forest was only meters away but out of nowhere...

An arrow flies past my skull, no... Surely that can't...

Before me, hiding within the greenery, were knocks of wooden arrows.

Ones that were harder and sharper than steel, specialty of-

"Elves... I see, so in the end this was an ambush," I muttered. So is this the end of the line?

Is this punishment for all the atrocities I've committed so far, to be cornered like a rat?

Nay! for they cannot aim if they cannot see!

I pull out a vial with dark clouds whirling within and held it up high. Just before I smash the vial down, a silver blade shatters my skeletal arm.

The blade left burns on my arms. Silver, another weakness us undead have... It wasn't as painful as I had thought.

Behind me, I saw a familiar face. The boy who chose to be a test subject. He rode on a horse and was armed to the teeth with silver armaments.

But there was something else that gave me a feeling of familiarity when I saw him. His eyes, pale as snow and his skin once brimming with life now was as pale.

"Ah yes, so you've completed your transformation, my Half-Dead test subject. One greater than a vampire," I said.

"Shut it" he said.

Those were my last words before I, Sol Van Heim, departed back to the Blight Lands. He shatters my skull and orders his horse to crush my skeletal body under its hooves.
