after you got discharged from the hospital, you had been invited for dinner at the sank family household, the next day arrived, and you head straight to school.

"welcome back (y/n) chan!" said a purple-haired girl, "thank you ayami chan!" you thanked the girl, the girl handed you her books, you missed lots of homeworks since you skipped school for a day, gotta agree tho, your teachers are homework manaics who wouldn't stop giving homeworks, especially english.

the teacher came inside the classroom by sliding the door open, everyone was focusing on her, you glance at the black-haired male besides you for a while, and looked at the window besides you again, 'how should i get ayami close to her..?' was what you thought, 'a few more years before shinichiro die, yeah ayami can replace me' you thought, but thinking of that, your aunt's words echoed throught your head, 'no one can replace you'

you opened your eyes, small chit-chats were heard from the girls besides you, 'i must have slept-' you thought, "good morning sleeping beauty" a familiar male voiced said, you quickly stood straight, "shin-chan?!" "yep its me" he said, "you got out of the hospital so, do you wanna celebrate it?" the male asked, you were gonna reply as 'sure' but a certain purple-haired figure popped up on your head, "uhh, no-" you replied, seems like the male ignored it, "great! let's go to the nearby restaurant for dinner, my treat!" the male exclaimed, "just.. the two of us..?" you asked, "Mm-hmm, just the two of us!" he exclaimed again, "shin-chan can i invite ayami-chan tho-" you said but were cut off by the male, "huh? im celebrating it with you not ayami, she isn't admitted in the hospital.." he said, "shin-chan! are you sure you like ayami-chan?!" you asked

"w-well.. yes, of course i do! but-" the male trailer off looking at your now curious (e/c) eyes, "but..?" you asked as he snapped out of his thoughts, "ahh nvm, you can bring ayami then" the male scoffed, he was gonna say how he wanted to spend alone time with you but the fact that you thought he liked ayami, he was afraid you would get mad at him or smth.while you just beemed in excitement.

"REALLY?!?!" the voice of the purple-haired female, ayami voice echoed through the big house, "Mm-hmm! after we're done studying tho!" you said, the girl was happy after hearing that she was invited to dinner by shinichiro, well she wasn't- but you made it sound like she 'was' invited, "then let's hurry up and finish these works!!" the girl exclaimed

"hey shinichiro!" ayami said smiling widely, as she arrived at the table shinichiro was sitting, "hey ayami, where is (y/n)??" upon hearing the question, ayami's smile quickly fade away, "i uh- dont know..?" she said, the boy mouth just left an 'oh' until he got a message

the male typed, but quickly edited the msg and replace it with an 'oh yeah! you're right!' you noticed that but just shrug it off.

right now, you're currently eavesdropping the two of them, they have a conversation and you saw shinichiro chuckled and laugh, your eyes sparkled seeing that, 'im glad!' you thought, little do you know, he never laughed or smiled at any words ayami said, but he laughed on a certain sentence ayami made, which was about you.

'ahh man! im glad to see that they're getting along well despite their past relationship' you thought as you whistle around, 'come to think of it! why did they even broke up?!' you thought again, after you snapped out of your thoughts thinking that, you heard a scream
