So, I don't know if you've ever encountered the "dream chapter" in a book, but I have. And let me tell you, they majorly suck. Basically, a "dream chapter" is a chapter in which the MC wakes up at the end and we found out the whole chapter was a dream. I don't know if you've noticed, but noone is asleep for 10 pages of a chapter. Unless they're in a coma, but even that is uncommon in books. And another thing I've noticed is that when those do happen, they're literally the most exciting chapter in the entire freaking book.
