It started with a Match!

Chapter 1

Suddenly I came across this stunning woman she had piercing blue eyes, brown wavy hair that came down to her shoulder, pink lips full of colour, not going to lie she looked so beautiful. She seems quirky from her bio, and she seemed to be a doctor, quite impressive. I didn't have time to process anything else as I quickly swiped right.

After swiping right for the insanely beautiful woman it gave me hope that maybe I will be able be able to find someone online. After a few more swipes both left but mainly right, I set down my phone and made my way to grab some coffee. 

Just as I was pouring it, JJ came up behind me. "Coffee?" She shook her head. "Come and see me in the conference room in 2 minutes, I need to talk to you" she then walked away in the direction of the conference room.

Weird, that was not at all strange.

I lifted my coffee and placed it on my desk before making my way to the conference room wondering what JJ wants to talk about.

I walked into the room, but I couldn't see JJ. I turned around to leave, maybe I heard her wrong and she said something else... Just then JJ appeared from behind the door, she closed it and stood in front of it. "JJ there you are, I thought you weren't here. Is everything alright?" I said as I walked over to her from the middle of the room.

"Em I need to say something, and I don't know what will happen if I do." JJ said nervous looking at the floor. I lifted her head to look at me "Hey, you can tell me anything!" I smiled at her, she smiled back. "I don't know if I can say it" she looked at me through her eyelashes. I look JJ up and down, suddenly I realised what I was doing, JJ is a very attractive woman, but it is only now that we are stand close that I truly see how beautiful she is. 

"I am nervous of what will happen if I tell you". JJ sounds so anxious and scared. "I'm sure it isn't anything too bad, but if you don't want to tell me, I will not pressure you into it! When you are ready we can talk then." After saying that I put my hand on the handle of the door with JJ still standing In front of it. As I touched the handle JJ moved a little to the right and put her hand up "Emily, wait..."

Her hand landed on my chest... I stare at her hand, slowly I look up and our eyes meet. We continue to stare at each other until JJ moves her hand and breaks eye contact "I'm sorry I didn't mean to touch you; I'm just going to go" JJ rushes as she turns around and opens the door a few inches before I reached over her shoulder and close it leaving my arm where it is.

JJ turns around and looks at me with one arm by her head I put my other arm on her hip as I push her up against the wall, taking a step forward. We close the distance between us so that our faces are just an inch away from each other. JJ stares at my lips...

Suddenly she grabs my shirt and pulls it towards her as our lips connect, the taste of vanilla from JJ's lips reached mine before the tip of her tongue grazes my bottom lip. I give her access and it quickly turns into a heated make out session. My hands start to wonder from her hips, JJ pulls back.

"That was..." JJ started.

"Hot!" I replied

"Yeah, hot is one word for it. Look we should get back to work before people wonder where we are. Is there any chance we could have a chat after work?" JJ says.

"Yeah, of course I will meet you at mine. But right now? We could go back to doing what we were doing a minute ago." I smirk and pull JJ into me. "Em come on, as much as I enjoyed it, we should go." JJ sighed while smiling. "Okay let me go out first, give it a few minutes then you follow... I will see you later."

"Got It! See you then!" JJ nodded.

I peaked out the door and didn't see anyone, I made my way to my desk and opened a case file. Out of the corner of my eye I see JJ sitting down at her desk. A smile creeps to my lips and I start to replay in my head what just happened, the vanilla flavour still lingers.

I can't believe that I have never seen JJ the way I see her now. I would never have thought that I would see how beautiful she is never mind kiss her, I don't regret it though. She is a great kisser and my god was it hot. The thing is, she is my best friend and has been for a long time. God I just kissed my best friend, well she kissed me...

My phone buzzing pulled me from my thoughts, I lifted it and opened my phone. Its a notification from the dating website, shit I forgot about it. I opened the app and I couldn't believe my eyes, what it said...

'It's a Match!'
