It started with a Match!

Chapter 1

Emily POV:

As there weren't any new cases today, I was able to stay in bed longer this morning, which was honestly a dream come true. It has been months since I got to sleep in although I have gotten used to getting up at 6 every morning to be at work for 7am. This morning I forced myself to stay in bed a little longer, before getting ready for the day and heading to work and arriving at 8.30am. I step out of the elevator and see JJ, Morgan and Spence talking, so I approach them. 

"There she is! I was just talking about you!" Derek said. "I know you love talking about me Morgan, probably nearly as much as I love talking to Pen...about you!" I winked at him. His face started to flush pink, JJ and spence burst out laughing.  Derek and Garcia are always flirting and giving each other names, come on they are bound to be dating. Everyone can see how the act around one another, yet neither of them mentions their relationship.

"Someone seems to be in a great mood this morning", JJ smiled and gives me a slight bump on the shoulder with hers. I smiled back, "Yeah well it isn't everyday that hotch lets us come in later." Everyone nods in agreement. 

"Prentiss we, well I was discussing, well... asking if you are dating anyone at the minute?", Derek questioned. I put on my best Penelope voice and said to him, "Why are you interested chocolate thunder!" ...

Penelope enters with her pink pen in hand and a smile on her face. "Morning to you all! Em and I had this conversation just the other day, she doesn't feel comfortable as she has been on multiple dates and they are either extremely boring or real creeps. Also, Em..." Penelope giggled, before turning her smile into a stern look. "No one calls Derek chocolate thunder but me!" I reassured her "Pen don't worry he isn't my type he is all yours!" Her smile grew from ear to ear "Good! Now as much as I love talking about your love life, I got work to do. Derek when you are finished come see me in my office!" with that Garcia strutted off.

They really don't make it subtle do they...

"Prentiss why don't you try online dating, look at dating apps and see if there is anyone on their who catches your eye." Derek says smirking at me.

"Look I got to go and talk to Garcia about... this... thing but keep me posted... all of you! I need to know that you all are getting some, even you lover boy." Derek winked at Reid and practically ran towards Garcia's office. A smirk slowly crept onto Reid's face, but I pretended not to notice and continued.

"Just because he is getting some doesn't mean he should rub it in our faces. I mean I'm happy for him, but I miss it, it's been to long." I sighed. "Perhaps there is someone you know who is right under your nose who you could date..." JJ whispered. "JJ, Derek and I are just joking, I would never do that to Pen and he isn't my type." "What exactly is your type Em?" ... JJ questioned.

Before I could even say my type is girls, Hotch walked in and told us all to get to work, with that we dispersed to our desks and started our paperwork. Case files are honestly the worst, I would rather be fighting bad people, you know, doing something physical. Sadly, the paperwork comes with the job, don't get me wrong I love my job, I would just rather be making a difference and locking all the bad people up.

There wasn't much work that needed to be done just some case files from the last few months. A couple of hours later and I soon found myself finished with them so I decided to download a dating app. Once downloaded I opened it up and went to my profile, adding some info about myself my age, my interest and even some pictures, only the ones I look extremely hot in, like the one JJ took of me that time at work when I was wearing my read top.

Now that my profile was done it was time to swipe I guess...

There were many left swipes and not enough right swipes, they are either too young or too weird or men...
