A few days in Florida did help catch up on my sleep. It was nice to be able to relax and not worry about anything. But, I still had to worry about my mother, who has a wine problem. It isn't like she is abusive or rude when she's drunk, I just worry about her health and if something bad will happen.

I was already tanning up from the few days in the sun, my hair looked lighter and more healthy as well. I felt very beautiful looking at myself in the mirror. I haven't felt this good in a hot minute.

I was wearing a black high waisted bikini with high waisted denim shorts and a blue tank top over the bikini. My mom wanted to go out tonight and go night swimming later. She was very energetic ever since I arrived and I can't say I wasn't. The sun made me happy. The power that the sun holds on people is godly.

I slipped my sunglasses on and headed into town with my mother, enjoying the oldie's playlist and the windows down. The wind ran through my hair while I sang my heart out. It reminded me a lot of my summers back in Michigan. My high school friends and I drove to the lake while blasting music as loud as possible.

When mother pulled into a driveway, I saw we arrived at a very fancy house, just like grandfathers. I fidgeted with my beaded necklace and opened the car door.

"Mom, where are we?" I asked while walking with her towards the front door.

Mom bit her lower lip before knocking on the door. She quickly poofed her hair and smiled. "I wanted you to meet my boyfriend."

My eyes widened in disbelief. What the hell did she just say? But before I could interrogate her, the door opened to a man my age. But the man looked way too familiar.

I gasped as my mother walked us both in. "Hi Peter, is your uncle here?"

He nodded with a smile, "Yeah, Tom is in the kitchen." He stepped out of the way and my mother walked in to find this Tom person.

When I walked in, I stared at Peter with disbelief. No way this was happening.

"Oh my god, (Y/N)?" Peter spoke as he held his arms out to hug.

I giggled in confusion before hugging him back. "Peter Parker, what the hell are you doing in Florida?"

He pulled away as Harry Osborn walked in from another room. "Harry, look who is here." Peter pointed towards me.

My eyes widened even more as I hugged Harry. "Oh my god you guys, what is even happening!"
Harry and Peter laughed as they thought my confusion was hilarious.

"So, your mother is dating Peter's uncle? How strange is that?" Harry asked as he wrapped an arm around Peter's shoulders.

"Wait wait wait, I didn't know you were related to Selena?" It was Peter's turn for the confusion.

I couldn't help but laugh. "I didn't know your uncle was dating my mother and lives in Florida? Why haven't you told me?"

The three of us walked into the kitchen, "Because I didn't think this would happen!" Peter chuckled. When we walked in, we caught my mother and Tom kissing.

The three of us groaned and covered our eyes while the two broke the kiss and giggled like lovesick teenagers. "Sorry! Oh, Tom!" My mother grabbed my wrist and pulled me next to her. "This is my wonderful daughter (Y/N)."

I forced an awkward smile and held my hand out, "Nice to meet you Tom."

Tom shook my hand and gave me an awkward smile back. "Nice to meet the golden child. Your mother never stops talking about you."
