" Finally! We have arrived! " My mom said exitingly.

I wasn't excited at all. I loved my old town more. I had friends that I had to say goodbye too.

We moved out of the boat, picking up our stuff as the sun hits my skin.

" It's awfully hot today. " I said.

I suddenly remembered that the Madrigals had ' gifts '.

Guess I believe it. The stupidest one was probably Isabelas. Pfft- flowers?

We moved into our new house. It wasn't bad and all. But, when I looked outside the window, I saw the whole village covered with flowers!

" Mom?. . . " I said quietly.

" Yes dear? "

" The village. . . it's all, flowers?! "

" That must be the work of one of the Madrigals! You know Isabela? " my mom said joyfully

" yea. . . "

" Why don't u go out and meet them? Or, even a few people! I felt bad that u had to say goodbye to your friends but, this town's bigger! You'll surely meet lots and more people! "

Wow, she actually felt bad? That's surprising.

" Sure mom. " I said while opening the door.

When I went outside there I saw Isabela throwing flowers gracefully and joyfully.

I pout. " pfft- classic " I grumbled under my breath.

I saw many people gather around Isabela. What could they see in her? She isn't special or anything. It was only because of her gift.

I don't know how to interact to people at a new town. I don't know how to do simple things.

I was getting kinda bored so I just went in the crowd. Watching Isabela throw her flowers.

Isabela finally stopped. She wanted to go back home and rest.

As I was walking, I saw this huge house! The windows were moving also! It was cool, I had always thought that magic didn't exist but, this was real!

I felt somebody tap their finger on my shoulders which caused me to shiver.

" Mom? " I said.

I turned around and saw a pretty looking woman! She had brown hair and a yellow-red dress.

" Oh sorry to bother but, are you new in town? I hadn't seen u before. " She said

" Oh yea uhm- me and my mom just moved here and, it's pretty cool. " I said with a happy tone.

" Want me to show u around? "

" Sure "

The town was actually full of magic. I can't believe it! I thought magic was some dream of a child.

" Wow, this town is actually magic? I thought magic was some fantasy story sh- " I realized what I almost said.

" stuff. "
" N-no offense tho! "

She laughs.

" That's fine " she said with a chuckle.

Guess I have a new friend now. Y a y.

This town wasn't as bad as I thought it was.

" Oh yea! Forgot to tell you, I'm Dolores. Dolores Madrigal. " She said with a graceful and happy smile.

" Oh- you're one of th- "

" Yep. "

" I'm y/n l/n. "

" Cool name! I gotta go now, my mom's probably waiting. " She giggled

" Oh of course! My mom's probably waiting as well. " I said happily
