Chapter 2: Being A Father

*enchanted forest/Sherwood forest*

"Leave the lady alone" Robin Hood jumped down from his rock he was standing on, gently holding his chest while doing so. Walking toward the men while drawing his bow and arrow the masked me stood down for a split second but went back to their positions "have it your way then,boys" Robin called out before arrows started flying out of all angles and not hitting the bandits but scared them enough to run away not truly wanting this fight. as the circle of men broke the women curled up in a ball sat up frightened of these events , as robin ran to the women he reassured her as she lifted her head she gave a Thankyou smile
"I'm Robin Hood" he said standing up and holding his hand out proudly
"Marion" she said as the bundle on Robins chest began to wiggle and squirm
"Oh and this" he said undoing the tight cloth to reveal a small child "is Amelia"

*storybrooke present day*

"Amelia, you have school today" Emma called up to Amelia who had been in her bedroom getting ready for school "not a fashion show" Emma giggled as did the male behind her holding her waist. As the moment drew to an end a figure walked down the stairs in a floral mini dress with pumps to match
"You really like your dresses don't you?" The male laughed
"Well Killian, I'm very much a lady" Amelia answered curtsying "where's henry?" She questioned Emma
"Oh he already went In with Mary Margaret" she answered, immediately Amelia's face fell, it was her first day at the school and she didn't know anyone except henry.

Entering the school gates Amelia recognised Henry and called out
"Henry" he immediately ran over to the girl
"Hey I was just talking to Mary Margaret" he answered as she looked confused "about where you were going today" he said easing her confusion as she nodded.

Lunchtime came around fast, but Amelia had not made any friends
"I have somewhere you might like" a voice called she turned around to find Regina "the nursery, come with me" Amelia followed Regina without saying a word, as she walked in the only child that stood out to her was little boy two maybe three, Regina noticing who she wa looking at spoke out
"Roland he's my stepson" she smiled as Amelia nodded "well enjoy" she said as she walked away.
Walking toward the child she noticed a familiar look on his face but she couldn't quite place it
"Hi I'm Amelia" she smiled startling the child who eventually reciprocated her smile
"I'm woland" he said in a toothy two year old kind of way
"Well what are you playing"
"Caws" he said putting his index finger in his mouth.

"Say daadaa" the fearless man sat with his young six month daughter with a big smile on her face, convincing himself that one day she would say his name even though she was abit to young at the moment.
"Your never going to give up on that are you?" A women's voice questioned him
"Never" he said kissing his fragile baby's cheeks "Marion, I'm doing the right thing with her aren't i?" He questioned out loud for the first time since her birth
"Yeah, your her father, she might be a baby but she looks up to you" she said reassuring him as his baby clapped his cheeks, smiling he brung his baby down and cradled her
"I love you meily" he said kissing her fragile nose.

*storybrooke present day*

"Hello?" The father of the small child said as Amelia stood up
"Um sorry I...was...just" Amelia looked up to see the most familiar man, she paused as he smiled, the smile she remembered
"I know Regina told me" he answered "Robin hood" he said realising she wasn't going to answer
"Um Amelia" she splattered out, he smiled sadly although Amelia didn't notice
"That's a lovely name, Roland say bye to Amelia" he said picking up his son
"Bye meily" Roland called out, her eyes teared up as her younger brother called her by the nickname her father once always called her, standing up she straightened her dress and walked out.

"Amelia" Emma called out as the door banged shut
"I'm not Hungary at the moment I'll come down later" she called trying to hold back the tears. running upstairs her eyes started overflowing, by the time her head hit the pillow she was crying like a small child, he rather had not recognised her, he blanked her.

The screams of a young child filled the camp
"Meily don't cry please" Robin said desperately trying to hush his child
"What's the matter, Robin?" A female voice called out, spinning around he turned to face Marion
"I don't know" he said clearly overwhelmed by his child's unsettling cries
"She's nervous" Marion answered holding out her hands gesturing for the baby "soothe her, it's what being a parent is about" she smiled as she looked up at the outlaw, leaning in he softly pecked her on the lips and smiled
"Thankyou" he said before going to a private setting with his daughter
"You are my little princess meily"
