We then bowed down and as Luke disappeared again, at first people were surprised but then I shoved it off with a smile and walked down to see Flynn having a big smile as she pulled me into a hug.
" You were saying? " I said sarcastically. " Whatever, you both rocked that place! " Flynn said chuckling. " Yup, we'll always do " Luke said poofing with a big smile as I smiled back avoiding the word always, since the full moon was just a week away.
We have our dinner and head to our rooms, the next day we check out and go back to our hotel, we went on the bus ride again, in our same seats setting again, everything was some except that I didn't fall asleep again
" Try this " I said putting another song on the playlist as me and Luke vibed over it but it got paused because of a notification on screen.
" Uh-Oh " I said but then I looked that it was a text message from Nick, a long one. It read:
hey Julie! I and Carrie are leaving San Fran tomorrow, we were joined by Carrie's dad few days ago and he will be keeping a party tonight, so obviously Carrie insisted us to go, but as most of them will be strangers there, I was wondering if you could join us tonight :))
" What is it? " Flynn said from behind looking at my phone. " It's a message from Nick " I said. " Omg! What does it say? " Flynn said. " He's inviting me to Carrie's dad's party tonight " I said
" Oh then we should definitely go! " Flynn said excitingly. " Umm, by the way, it only says ' you ' by the way " I said. " Oh, then you should go " Flynn said
" What is it? " Luke asked confusingly. " It's a friend of mine from my school, Nick, you remember that ball day? That were Nick and Carrie to whom I was talking " I said
" Oh, so he's like calling you to his party tonight? " Luke asked
" It's not his, it would be her girlfriend's dad's party actually " I said as Luke nodded
" I don't think I should go, also it isn't that Carrie is inviting me but it is Nick, also yesterday was tiring day " I said
" Oh, you should go, your tiredness would go easily by night, Carrie would be too busy talking to others about dirty candy, you can also finally get some uninterrupted free time with you and nick " Flynn said smirking
I looked at Luke who smiled but had a little disappointed on his face, but Flynn was right, if I want to move on, I should let go.
" yeah, I guess so " I said as Luke looked away from me but avoided it.
We reached back to the hotel, me and Luke don't talk much, I go back to my room and lie down on the bed. " I have had a crush on Nick from years now, but now when he's inviting me and being friendly, why is it not feeling right, maybe he's just being friendly, but there's just some wrench in my heart, is it because of Luke- Oh wait Julie, Luke is a very good friend of yours, though I like him, it's just fate that will not let us be together, I just wish he was real " the thoughts start to sum up again in my head.
