012. OLD CRAIN HOUSE

The group are at The Wreck, catching up with John B since he got out of the hospital.

"I'm sorry. You're staying where?" Kie asks.

"Tannyhill." John B says.

"So you're living with Sarah Cameron." Kie says.

"Okay, look, the only reason I'm living there is because her dad bailed me out, all right?" John B says. "And it's way better than foster care, which, by the way, is where I was about to go if Ward didn't--"

"Hey, so, like, do you have a membership to the clubs now?" Pope asks.

"I don't know, Pope." John B says, sitting across from him.

"What about those golf carts they drive around? You get one of them?" JJ asks.

"Does it come with a sweater vest or do you have to buy one on your own?" Pope asks.

"When are you gonna switch to polo shirts? Do you already own some?" Cordelia asks.

"Look, you promised. You said you weren't with her." Kie says.

"Bro, just own it. She got you." JJ says.

"Look, if you wanna hang out with her, that's fine." Kie says.

"You're not making it seem fine." Cordelia says.

"But I'm letting you know now that I'm not doing anything with Sarah." Kie says.

"Do you guys see her here? No, right. Okay. A little focus would be fantastic." John B says. "We've got the map, right?"

"Well, it's all outta whack cause the guy was ganja'd when he drew it." JJ says.

"It's cause the coast has changed." Kie corrects.

"So we just have to look for landmarks that haven't changed." Pope says.

"What about the old forts?" John B asks.

"Battery Jasper." Kie states.

"We're in Battery, right here." Pope says, pointing at the map. "So if this is parcel nine, then it's somewhere northeast of here."

"Somewhere over there." Kie points in a direction.

"Right." Pope nods.

"Over there? Guys, that's not Tannyhill, that's a subdivision." JJ says.

"Tannyhill Plantation used to be the entire island. It got sold into smaller pieces over time." John B declares.

"So we're just looking for an old stone wall." Pope says.

"Okay, so the road should split up here." Pope says as John B drives the Twinkie. "All right. You're gonna take a left." John B does so.

"That looks like a stone wall to me." JJ says as John B stops the van.

"This is it." Pope says. Him and John B get out as JJ slides open the back door.

"Oh, fuck no." Cordelia breathes out once she realizes where they are. "No. Absolutely not."

"You want your share of the money or not?" JJ asks. Cordelia gives him a displeased look before getting out of the van.

"Are you kidding me?" Kie asks, walking up to the wall.

"Worst case scenario." JJ says.

"Why'd it have to be here.. of all places?" Pope asks.

"Because our lives absolutely fucking suck ass." Cordelia comments.

"I heard that Mrs. Crain buried her husband's head on the property." JJ says.
