Your POV
It is now the day of our anniversary. Jesus, a year ago today we were high schoolers, with our best friends at the time... Crazy how fast something's can change...
Ranboo didn't say anything about what he had planned. I got him a small gift, it was just a mood bracelet that was shaped like a heart. (idk if these things are real, and I don't care because this is decent and cute)
I put the box of the bracelet into the pocket of my hoodie. Ranboo didn't tell me how to dress, so I was just wearing ripped jeans and the hoodie he gave me when we first hung out.
"I can't believe you've kept that," Ranboo said. I jumped since I wasn't expecting to hear him.
"Jesus Christ, don't scare me like that!" I laughed a bit.
"Sorry my Beloved! Wasn't my intention," Ranboo said, sort of hugging me from behind. "It looks good on you,"
"Thanks, Boo–" I laughed awkwardly.
"Anyway, you ready to head out?" Ranboo asked.
"I think so, yeah. Where we headed?" I asked. (SOUL, NO.)
"You'll see when we get there!" Ranboo said.
"Why do you always have to surprise me with things?" I asked in a joking manner. Truth was, I really didn't mind much.
"Because you deserve it, especially after everything you've been through recently." Ranboo smiled.
"Aw shut up–" I laughed awkwardly.
"Never~" Ranboo said. I rolled my eyes.
We continued walking, making small conversations as we walked. Soon, we got to a familiar place... We were walking to the park we'd go to all the time.
"Why are we in this area...? I don't really like being here, with everything that happened with my parents..." I said.
"I promise, we aren't going near there." Ranboo said. I sighed.
"Alright, I hope not..." I said.
"Okay, so since we're almost there and I want to keep this a surprise for as long as I can... I need you to close, or cover your eyes in some way," Ranboo said. I gave him a confused look.
"Why do I need to cover my eyes...?" I asked.
"Just trust me, okay?" Ranboo said. I sighed, and closed my eyes.
"If I get hurt, I'm killing Michael." I threatened. Ranboo sighed.
"Fine, fine, I can talk to Dream about including that in the lore if you get badly injured," Ranboo laughed slightly.
"Good, you better!" I laughed, still having my eyes closed as Ranboo slowly started to guide me– "How far is this surprise...?"
"Not too far, don't worry. You won't be blind forever," Ranboo said.
"I better not be!" I laughed.
"You're doing alright, right? Not tripping too much?" Ranboo asked.
"I don't think so– It would be noticeable I'm tripping, right?" I asked.
"I'd hope so!" Ranboo said.
We continued walking, while I tried my best to keep my eyes closed the entire way there. What did this man have planned...
Finally after a couple minutes, we stopped. I couldn't tell how much we had walked, but it wasn't far. Definitely wasn't all the way to the end of the trail we usually used to walk on.
