"The setter's the most dominant roll. It's the coolest!" Hinata imitated Kageyama for what he told him months ago. Usually he would be annoyed and grab him by his collar by now but he was frozen in his place. 'He remembered that? Why would he remember that?' Kageyama thought as he stared at him.

He felt his heart beating a little faster, he felt time slow down as Hinata continued, "We're not going to forget that you said all that". Hinata started to form the towel on his shoulder to form a crown to newly crown the King of the court. Kageyama blinked at him. "From this day you shall be known as ..."

"The new king of the court!" Kageyama backed up as he felt time slow down as he saw Hinata jump and aim for his head. He was opening his mouth to say something but he felt the towel go on his head. He stood there as he stared at Hinata. His heart was beating fast, his palms were sweaty and he only stared at the boy in front of him. He felt his ears burning hot as he stood there. It was just him and the boy in front of him. His own rival. His teammate. Just Kageyama Tobio and Hinata Shoyo. Just the two of them.

"...Do I like him?"

Kageyama thought as he stood there looking at the boy before him. He blushed at the thought, quickly grabbed the towel on his head and threw it on Hinata's face but as he did Hinata couldn't help but notice a smile spread on the newly crowned King of the court's face. Hinata was satisfied seeing the smile on Kageyama's face. He doesn't see it often but when he does he couldn't help but feel happy. Kageyama wasn't the type to smile or show emotions off well so seeing the setter smile was something Hinata truly treasured.

Kageyama swallowed the thought and focused on the matter at hand, he faced his team and spoke, "I don't really know how others feel, and apparently I'm not the best at words-"

"We know that already!" Hinata said, teasing him.

"You're saying that now?" Tsukishima said.

Kageyama ignored them, "But, I'll do everything I can to be the best setter"

Hinata smiled at him. Kageyama felt his heart beat a little faster looking at him so he looked away. "You're saying that now?" He heard his captain, Daichi say so he turned his way looking confused. "You've always been that" Daichi continued smiling at the setter. Asahi smiled at Kageyama as well as Sugawara gave him a closed-eyed smile and a thumbs up. He looked at them, blinking but gave them a small smile anyways. That statement coming from his superiors made him happy. But that feeling was cut short.

" Aw, apparently the King is a sweet little boy" Tsukishima said, smirking at him. Kageyama was about to talk back but his teammates beat him to it.

Hinata jumped in, defending Kageyama, "Come on, Tsukishima! Grow up!"

"Wow, Hinata just said that" Yamaguchi said, surprised

"You're still mad about earlier, huh?" Tanaka asked, tauntingly referring to the incident of Kageyama pushing Tsukishima to jump higher earlier. Tsukishima scowled.

"You should've guessed that!" Sugawara added, showing him a thumbs up.

"Guess read blocking!" Nishinoya exclaimed, having his arms high in the air, looking as if he was blocking.

Ennoshita sighed, "Stop confusing things from another thing. It's going to have a different meaning now!"

Kageyama smiled once again and once he saw Hinata approach him he froze in place. Hinata grabbed him by the collar, pulling on it so Kageyama's face can go down to his eye level having their faces a little too close with each other. Kageyama blushed, "Why is this dumbass so close!?". Hinata looked at him in the eyes, very seriously, "See Kageyama, You don't have to be scared anymore huh?". Kageyama could only stare at him but once he realized he was staring a little too long, he pushed Hinata off of him and turned his back to him to hide his blush from the tangerine.
