Hayley Gray Has just turned twelve and it's time for a life of joy and tragedy to build itself.
walking through the cathedral in her blue ceremony dress, her long black hair tied up into a neat bun, she makes her way past the rows of people to the stage. Listening to the whispers of those who have come to witness the miracle that is this little girl. Coming from a long line of high rankers such as politicians and scientists, the expectations are very high.
Finally she makes it up on to the stage. She slowly and carefully picks up The Prism. A small pyramid made of glass and crystals. It's this little piece of glass that will determine her life and her worth.
After a moment the prism starts to shake and flash colors. Gasps are heard all throughout the cathedral until the prism selects its color.
The prism shines a very bright gold.
