Chapter 2

"Sissy!come help me open my presents!"Nathan's little voice said.
I woke up and smiled at my phone, then turned off my alarm clock. I always loved waking up to hearing his little voice. It was like he was still here until I would go in his room. Everytime I walked in there, the dust particles changed into sun beams in my mind. I would visualize him running around with his arms out, acting like he was a plane. All thoughts in my head would disapear while my mind rewimded back to the good days. But this wouldn't last forever. Soon the gray,dull room would start to come back after he stopped and smiled at me.
I dragged myself out of bed and got dressed. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled at my style. Long sleeved sweater with black ripped skinny jeans,blue converse with black laces and a mustache beanie on to top off the outfit.
On my way to school it was never easy. I had to walk past Alex's house. My crush. His blue eyea watched perfectly with his back long hair and don't even get me started on his perfect jaw line. I'd love to kiss that. SNAP OUT OF IT CLOVER! He'll never like you. He's perfect and your the "werido" everyone hates. It never use to be like this. Me and lacy were best friends. We were so popular. Everyone loved us. She started hating me when her boyfriend James kissed me. It soon got out and he blamed me. Of course she was stupid and believed him. She started to spread rumors about me to the whole school. Since she hamyself., everyone had to follow her like a lost puppy. Pathedic if you ask me.
I stormed into the class room and sat in my seat in the back. I liked it back there. It was quiet and I was alone. Since my dad died when Nathan was two and my baby brother getting hit by a car,following with my mom commiting suicide shortly after Nathan died. I learned how to be okay with being alone.
The class soon began to fill up. My heart nearly stopped when Alex sat in front of me. I sunk further in my seat so he couldn't see me. He dropped his penicl and of course it rolled to me.
"Please don't turn around..please don't.."
"Hey could you hand me my penicl?"he said when he turned around with a big smile on his face. His snake bites made his smile look even cuter.
"Don't do something stupid...act "normal"my mind said.
"Yeah..sure.."I said with blushy cheeks.
"Thanks "he said ,staring his blue eyes into mine.
"Yeah.."I said with a little smile.
When he turned back around I rolled my eyes and pulled my beanie further down in my face.
"I told you to do one thing and you failed me"I skoiled myself.
After class I hurried to get out. When I was close to the doors I heard a guy call my name.
"Hey!clover!wait up!"a guy said running down the hall.
"Hey.you're fast. Its clober right?"the guy said.
"Yeah."I said Turing around only to find Alex there.
My heart began to pound against my chest again.
"Do you always take off this fast?"
"No,only sometimes.."I said with my cheeks glowing bright red
He smiled at my blushy cheeks.
"So how come I've never seen you around?"he said.
"Oh..you know..I'm just the...quiet werido.."I said putting my head down.
"Werido?your no where near weird."he said looking at me.
"...well.. I'm Alex".
"Yeah..I know.I walk by your house everyday."
"I thought you didn't know I exsited."
"Well since I'm a loner,I get bored and well..explore."
"Hey!we should get together and hang out.um..do u have chat box?"
"Yeah..i mean no but ill make one."I looked away shyly.
"Cool. Add me Alex_123. I'll text you whenever you text me."
"Okay..."I said with a little laugh.
"ALEX!BRO!"his friends shouted.
"COMIMG!"he shouted back.
"See you tomorrow he said smiling then ran to his friends.
I walked all the way home in this blushy mood. I sat on my bed thinking hard and long on if I should text him. I really want to but I'm really nervous..I don't want to mess this up.
"Okay..just do it."I told myself.
I picked my phone up and looked him up. I clicked on his name and took a deep breath..
"Okay..let's do this.."I said.

I stared at my phone..I felt sad..upset... What was he going to tell me? That he didn't want to be friends? That he didn't want to be seen with me?
I set my phone beside my bed and layed down holding my pillow..I looked at Nathans picture and told him goodnight..
"Tomorrow will be better.."I said,trying to convince myself.
