The Bucket Trap

I pick up my cup and drink my drink

" sure" Charlotte shrugged

" done deal, man" Henry agreed

" okay then" Ray said as he sit back on his spot, I put my glass down but still have my water in my mouth

" so, what secret do you want us to tell him?" Charlotte asked

" that Paris and Henry... Are boyfriend and girlfriend" Ray answers as he made heart shape with his fingers

I spit my water and it went onto his face

" ew!" Henry and I said in disgusted but glanced at each other, " hey!"

We are back at our house, Charlotte couldn't come and we texted Jasper that so he knows. We invited him to dinner here so we can tell our fake secret, we are I think done setting up the table and give Jasper his fave dish

" okay, who's going to start?" Henry asked me, I got the cups and put them on the table

" you start" I answers

" no, you start" Henry agrues

" I don't want to start" I agrued back

" it's my house, I make the rules!" Henry reasons

I scoffed

" our house!" I corrected him, " and why'd you ask me who's going to start if you knew you wanted to start?!"

" are you serious?"

That turned up to be an agrue between us again

" hey guys!"

We turn around to see Jasper at the door

" oh, hey Jasper"

" hi there, Jasps" I waved with a smile

" so, why'd you guys invite me to dinner?" Jasper asked us as he approached the two of us

We glanced at each other

" pfftt!" we scoffed

" what do you mean ' why?" Henry asked him

" friends don't need a reason to invite a friend for dinner, right" I shrugged

" I guess" Jasper answers

" although we do have a reason" Henry continues

" there is a reason" I repeated

" but first, did you see we made your favorite dinner?" Henry asked, I did jazz hands over the dinner plate on his spot, Jasper gasps of the sight

" fish sticks and peas?" Jasper clapped his hands as he walks over to his spot

I put my hands to my either side and nodded

" yeah" I answers, I pull a chair out for him, " sit down"

We three sit down on our spots, I cleared my throat of a signal for Henry to go first and I guess he got the message

" uh.. So, we have something that we kind of want to tell you but first, you have to promise you got to swear that you'll never tell anyone this secret" Henry strictly says to him

I bit my lips

" no worries, I can keep a secret" Jasper assured us

" can you?" Henry asked with a serious face on

" yeah" Jasper answers and gesture to me, " I never told Paris you were the one who killed her goldfish"
