Three children stood in a room.

One was crying.

The other looked panicked.

And, the last didn't seem to show any expression.

This situation would be what Aster would call, "a reason why I don't want to have kids."

...

Beginning from earlier in the day, after having been introduced to Marianne, the black-haired boy was given a tour of the estate by another servant. The violet-eyed girl followed along closely, with childish curiosity.

As they approached different hallways that winded left and right, Aster took in everything. He had a keen memory, and he was already creating a thorough mental map in his head. On the other hand, the small lady continued to show surprise at the different rooms. It seemed as though she didn't know some hallways existed, despite living here her whole life.

As they made their way back to the main area, Marianne looked as though she had just come back from a journey of a new world, her eyes sparkling.

"Aster! I didn't know we had so many rooms! I wonder what they're all for! The hallways were like foosh! And Zoom! How fun!!"

Aster smiled as he responded. Nothing too forward, nor fake. It was reserved, and his cat-like eyes would almost allow someone to mistake it for a sneaky smile.

"Most estates have numerous guest and parlor rooms, in case of a party being held at the estate, my lady. Whether from a dinner or a formal gathering, these rooms are open in case guests need a place to rest, during their stay."

"Oh!! You know a lot, don't you Aster!!"

With a smile on her face, she really behaved like a child her age, though more curious than most. However, her happy demeanor quickly shifted when the servant that had showed them around came into view. Pulling back and using Aster as a barrier of sorts, she hid behind him, becoming more reserved.

The black-haired boy couldn't help but laugh under his breath, equating her behavior like a retreating hamster.

...

A boy walking down the hall, with a book by his side, could hear a girl's voice, happily exclaiming something. As he approached, he recognized the voice, but the other one was unfamiliar to him.

Looking over a corner, he could see a black-haired boy with a platinum-haired girl.

He was surprised to see her unlike herself at first, as she was one to get frightened easily. However, he realized it was probably because the black-haired boy looked to be about her age.

However, he couldn't help but feel a bit off about the boy's smile.

He didn't want to get involved with him.

...

Aster could feel a presence that wasn't there before.

He felt alarmed, as he wasn't expecting to feel someone hiding their presence here. However, it wasn't concealed fully, so he was able to detect them. He wondered if they might have been doing it subconsciously.

"I can feel one... no— two people?"

Looking at the direction his senses told him, he looked at the end of the hallway.

Although he couldn't see anyone, he was able to notice some platinum-hair that quickly retreated into the next hallway. The light of the corridors reflected on his familiarly-colored hair.

Although he hadn't confirmed it, he knew who that was.

He was another reason why he chose the Telenalum County.

He was the second male lead from 'Fatal Beauty.'

Ijin Telenalum.

And, he was the one that would become the main villain of the novel, causing the heroine's death.

The man that knowingly fell for the trap laid by the nobles controlling behind the scenes. This action would cause a large war to start brewing within the nation. And, he used that war to his advantage, to try to kill the male lead and make the heroine stay with him forever.

He was the infamous possessive yandere character.

A tragic character that brings about his own downfall.

Aster only retained his smile on his face, as his plans will also extend to this famously hopeless character.

He would be rehabilitating the crazy yandere brother, while matchmaking the sister with the prince. All for the sake of saving the country from a tragic war.

Smiling behind his hand, he whispered under his breath. Marianne looked confused about whether he said something, as his natural demeanor hid his true nature.

"It seems I'll have to get acquainted now, hm?"
