It wasn't like I didn't think she wasn't attractive, because if you can make me brick up during school hours, you're beyond attractive. It was just different with her. I wanted to take everything slow. If it was up to me, we still wouldn't have had our first kiss.

That's how slow I want to move.

Mainly, because I want everything with her to be perfect.

Aniyah rolled her eyes slightly. "You wanna hear about my boyfriend, Tee?"

"You too young." He joked, pushing her head back. Noticing her attitude, he leaned against the counter. "Nah, go ahead and tell me."

"His name is Xavier," She started, and God himself couldn't stop this next sentence from coming out of my mouth.

"He raped a girl." I blurted. "He drugged Saida's friend and him and his friends raped her. You're friends with her sister, so why would you even think about dating the guy that raped her? A guy that raped someone period!"

"He didn't rape me, and who's to say that's even the story? It was a crowded party, anybody could've done it."

"But it wasn't anybody that did, it was Xavier, and you know it just as much as I do."

"You only believe that because your girlfriend is her friend. If she wasn't, you wouldn't even believe it."

"Wait, you're dating a rapist?" Tee furrowed his eyebrows.

"What reason do I have to not believe her?"

"Just shut up, worry about your own girlfriend. Get her some help."

"She doesn't need help, so don't bring her up." I spoke, more like it was a demand rather than a request.

"She doesn't need help? Anybody that forces themselves to throw their every meal up needs help. Your girlfriend is going to kill herself because she can't eat, so how about you worry about not having a corpse as a girlfriend and I worry about my boyfriend, alright?"

She was lying.

Sure, Saida didn't eat much, but she was probably just too shy to eat in front of me. I understood that.

But, at the party Xavier said she had bulimia and she was acting a little funny once I asked about it. Maybe he was lying and she just wasn't comfortable talking about something she didn't go through, which is why she didn't say anything?

"Shut up." I tightened my grip around the styrofoam cup full of juice in my hand.

"Now you're mad because your girlfriend is just fucked up as my boyfriend."

That did it.

The fact that she was able to compare Saida to a rapist pissed me off beyond words. No matter if what she was saying about her having an eating disorder was true, in no way did it make her even half as bad as Xavier.

Reacting off of impulse, I tossed the remainder of the juice onto Aniyah's face, Tee's mouth dropping in pure shock.

Before she got the chance to react, I went upstairs to my room, slamming the door shut.

I grabbed my phone multiple times throughout the fifteen minutes I was in my room alone. Debating on whether or not I should text Saida and just straight up ask her,

"You got an eating disorder or something? You can tell me, I won't judge."

But, that was too blunt.

If she had one she would've told me.

I would've figured out.

I wasn't able to have much time to figure out what to say to her because Tee waltzed into the room, irritation all across his face.
