-Also known as ABO or omegaverse is an alternative universe where humans have a second gender where you are either an alpha,beta or omega , Betas take 70% of the population and are normal like they don’t have anything special about them,

then there’re the alphas which take 20% of the population and usually are stronger , rougher and smarter than the betas and omegas wether they are male or female and are from the upper class ,sometimes they go through sth called rut that make them want to have sexual intercourse which frequently is with an omega ,also alphas can do sth called ‘marking ’ and that can only happen to omegas during their heat where an alpha bites their scent gland(or the neck if you don’t know what’s a scent gland) and that means that the omega is taken and the marking cannot be erased it will stay with the omega forever also alphas can impregnate omegas wether the alphas or omegas are male or female(so like a female alpha can impregnate a female omega or a male alpha can impregnate a male omega )

then there are the omegas that take only 10% of the population they are usually soft, weak , have high fertility and looked down on cause people think they are only good enough for breeding and always trying to lure rich alphas while in their heat so the alphas will lose control over their senses, mark and impregnate them then they will have to take care of them because they’re pregnant with their child, oh and heats are when an omega will feel hot and want to have a sexual intercourse usually with an alpha and they produce a scent that only alphas can smell which will drive them crazy and in most cases leads to them having sex but to stop that from happening omegas take pills called heat suppression ( I think that was what it’s called) that help in not spreading their scent and make the heat effects almost nonexistent , also heats come monthly and how long it takes to end depends on the omega and when a marked omega go through their heat only the alpha who they’re marked by will smell them

About the thames

Cale's eyes would glow red whenever his in his heat, omega in their family are special people to them because of their high pregnancy

While the alpha in their family are train to protect the omega until they find their own omega, it is very rare in their family to have an omega that was why they are very careful and gentle to them, treating them like queen's or king's

While alpha in their family are quite common that's why they treat the omegas with respect

All of their workers there are all beta's, they throughly check if their really a beta or not

The alpha in their family tends to protect their family omega either brother, mother, cousin or uncle,auntie

Barrow was also like this as he was trained by the Thames family at the age of 4 and started protecting cale at the age of 9

While Cale was with with their aunt, who married to a alpha, cale didn't know Barrow until he was 9 because they were separated by the family, it was said in their tradition that the omega's will bond with the other omegas while the alphas in their family will learn how to protect the omega in their family

In their family the alphas who are protecting them will be the one to judge whether the alpha the omega like is approve or not, that is how protective the family is to the omega

Not wanting for their family omega to suffer under the hands of their future husband, even if the omega in their family run away they tend to please them or coaxed them to come back in the family, if it didn't work they will sned money and help them move i a nicer invironmet, and if they the family alpha with them they will receive daily reports of the omega's health and life to make sure their really okay
